Flapping noise 25-30mph... baseball card in spokes?
My 507 Coupe just started making this strange noise this morning. Between 25-30 mph, light throttle, I get this sound from the right side, mid car, that sounds like a baseball card flapping through bicycle spokes. Goes away over 30 and can't hear it under 25. Looked under the car for anything like a plastic bag, etc. and all is clear. Anyone else ever have something like this?

Lol. Yes, I checked.
I am now so tuned into the noise that I can't ignore it. Especially since the dealer recently cured the other two noises coming from the rear shelf and the driver's side power window switches.

Did you actually play around with the underbody panels? Or just look for debris?
Those plastic fasteners for the panels throughout the car are a joke and will likely fall out over time. Then there could be a sweet spot mph range where there airflow is just right that the panel starts to flap away. When you're going slow enough there isn't enough force to get it going and then when you're going too fast there is enough pressure or airflow under the car to keep it from flapping.

I really want to get the rear wheels off the ground and run it up to 25-30 and see what I get.

I actually had a similar experience a few months ago but that noise was quite loud. I thought it was some metal body part hitting the road or something. But it literally went away after 10 minutes and then I looked under the car and couldn't find anything. I chalked it up to a rock or something stuck in the wheel for a bit. No idea though but as long as it doesn't come back, I guess I don't care.

Its the sound of $100 bills being ripped out of your wallet.
In all seriousness, I have developed a sound just like this. It sounds like its from the interior of the car and down the side of the seats or something. I even wondered if it was like air bubbles coming out of the lumbar support but that of course is mechanical. I have stared down the side of the seats and poked around in there a lot and havent been able to find even a clue. Nor have I been able to come up with a consistent set of circumstances for when it happens. Totally interested in hearing any ideas.
Until then Im thinking hundies.

this may sound crazy but the wifes mustang kept having this weird almost high pitched hum on the highway over 60mph in the windshield area. Everytime like clockwork it would start, and i traced back what was done recently and she had changed the wiper blades.
Get it a lil faster at about 80 and the blade started jumping, swapped em out problem solved.
Sometimes it can be something super simple.....sometimes not.

The fact that it does it only between 25-30 is what's got me baffled. That speed is too low for any wind-related issues.

in my car it comes around 25-30mph, in 2nd and 3th gear both..... Most of the time when coming out of a corner. That's why I think it has to do with the lsd but Ik can't explain that technically

Did you ever find out what was causing this sound?

Mine stopped one day. Not sure when. Just sort of realized "hey, its not doing that anymore"
I think it was the sound of hundred dollar bills dropping out of my bank account and into MBs

Did you ever put your car on jack stands and turn the wheels to see where the noise is coming from?
Could be coming from the LSD bearings

mine does this when i have the 18" on as a spare, i think it's to due with the LSD or something, because i have a 20" on the other side (i dont drive it much when i have the 1 18" on) but im pretty sure its LSD related
