Spare wheel/tire

Spare wheel/tire
Hello,
On my way to airport this morning, I ran over something that punctured the left front. Changed out to the spare in record time. However, it was apparently low on pressure and proceeded to shred itself. I limped to my parking spot so as not to miss my plane. So now I need a new tire (probable), and new spare (definitely). The list on this puppy is $815, and available online for $600-650.
I'm wondering if anyone that is parting out a car might have one or if anyone has any good ideas where to find one. The wheel and tire are sold as one. I'll be purchasing a compressor for the trunk as well. LOL

You should get the compact mercedes/audi/bmw compressors. They're basically the same models, just made for different car manufacturers. I love that little compressor. You should try Merc63 or another member here that decided to part their totaled car. I'll ask my buddy at the dealership if he has any lying around that he can sell you for cheap.

NP. I find it appalling that an inflator was not included in our cars. If they're going to include a spare, an inflator should be part of the package.
Most people won't bother keeping the spare properly inflated until they need it. Unfortunately, when they need it most, the spare will be under inflated or deflated to the point of being unusable.

I'm considering a second spare for front at the strip, take off the "spare tires" and add some Sportsman SR drag fronts. I was following the Ebay post for the spare he just bought, but I wasn't about to pay $300 for it. So if anyone wants to make a deal on just a spare wheel that matches the one in my C63, let me know, I'll ****** it up if the price is right.
