Hi guys.


Did anyone install the diff. mentioned above.
I did found a good write about how to do it but that was a different brand.
The one I have is missing the 2 little lips in the middle of the diffuser where you would transfer the oem bracket.
The question is that did any of you put on an aftermarket diffuser and did not bother transferring the oem bracket thingy over to the new diffuser?

Very interested in the answer to this question - I have a VFR diffuser sitting on the shelf ready to be installed!

VFR Tuning

For the Facelift diffuser, there is no OEM bracket mounting in the middle like on the pre fl diffuser. (Assuming you are referring to the thread posted below). The OEM piece has two small clips at the bottom of the diffuser but those are not needed to mount our diffuser. Just mount it using the two side mounting points via screws and the clips along the bumper.

For the pre fl, you transfer the OEM brackets onto our diffuser

will that hold?it will be allmost like a scoop for air....hope it wont fly off

For sure. We have taken our car to over 160mph on the track and never had a problem.

Just to clarify, your diffuser does not mount the same as the thread posted above because the facelift models do not have the brackets in the middle like on the pre facelift

Im in uk and my car is a 2013,so def facelift and it has the brackets

I haven't looked at a FL so I cannot say whether it's the same or not, but fwiw on my PFL, I just used a couple of long bolts in lieu of the brackets. There's a thread in here about it.
