Weistec Build Section, Weistec SLS825 Supercharger Before/After
We are pleased to release our build section on our website which shows the process in which we take to build some of the highest power Mercedes AMG's!
For this week's build, we were pleased to have a Lemans Red SLS which was fitted with our SLS825 package. This consists of:
- SLS825 Supercharger System
- SLS Long Tube Headers
- Spark Plugs
- ECU Calibration
- TCU Calibration
We also add our Oil Separator system to keep things clean inside the newly fitted supercharger system.
Before and after pics below with dyno numbers. Enjoy!

MBWorld Fanatic!
Becasue it's an M159 SLS system. Better flowing heads, more aggressive cam lobe and dry sumped just for starters, the M159's make a ton more power in stock form than the M156. The motor can handle more but this is about the max for the SLS DCT trans. I think my Weistec built SLS BS makes about 20 more hp than this one and again that is the highest I can go without clutch packs slipping. Both the Weistec M156 and M159 system can easily make more than 825 hp but that is where Wesitec takes it to in order to maintain drivability and reliabilty for the masses. FWIW, my Weistec Stage 3+ C63 BS makes about 790whp which is well over 900 at the crank so in theory their M156 system can make more power if you are willing to push the envelope. I know know I am pushing the limits of pretty much everything but at the same time if I happen to break something in the process of pushing things to the limits Weistec knows I am not going to get on these boards and start blaming them with nasty hate threads.

Thought the m159 has the same heads as the m156, just dry sump and cam?
What's it running for a pulley?
Jr, what is your c bs running for a pulley? Are you on the stock fuel pump and lines?

The M159 heads run larger valves and the slightly larger port. This accounts for most of the difference in power from the M156. The camshafts on the standard SLS are very similar to the M156 camshafts. The airboxes being much larger also help, and the car has a DCT transmission which is much better than an automatic.
The SLS825 system runs a 72.5mm supercharger pulley.
