Cleaning 507 matte black wheels...
Anyone have any hot tricks they've developed to clean these wheels efficiently? As you know, they dust up real quick. Any special products you guys use on black wheels?

No just cleaning them with water and soap.
Lately I've been using the tire shine to get them shinier. Basically after applying the foam on the tires I still have to wipe off excess. I decided to use that excess on the wheels. I did this twice and so far no issues.

I live 2 miles off the hard road and get allot of dust on the hole car. When I arrive outside my garage I use a airgun on a compressor to blow off loose dust. Surprising how much I can blow off the wheels and body.
During a wash I've just been using soapy water and a decent brush to get beyond the spokes.

Swisswax Opaque products for Matte or Satin Finish paint and have been specifically developed (oil free) to ensure that they don't change the appearance of matte or satin paint. Don't rub or use harsh cleaners, or they will show some parts shiny and some matte. Soap and water is best for a quick clean with a soft mitt or brush.

I've tried Dr Beasleys matte cleaner and it did not get all the brake dust off! And my wheels are brand new, basically. I used them for one summer, 6000 miles, and regularly washed with Optimum car wash soap and water.
I just got the Dr Beasleys cleaner thinking it would take care of the brake dust specs, but it didn't. Any ideas?

Yes, that's what I'm using- matte wheel cleanser. If I look closely at the wheel there are still brake dust specs.
Dr B has 2 products for more serious brake dust - I've emailed them to see if they are compatible with matte wheels.

think ill join this campfire , since i do have a 507 sedan with the black finish wheels .first i have to say that i hate those wheels , although not being completely matte finished they are the worst cleaning wheels i have ever had . my solution is to use simoniz rim cleaner , it is a very good product . my trick is to wash your wheels first when you do your car , seems counter intuitive but it really is the best solution . spray the cleaner on your cold wheels and calipers , let it soak some , where there is brake dust it will change color ,i use a Christmas tree shaped brush ,also by simoniz and a wash mitten soaked with...you guessed it...simoniz car wash and wax soap to clean everything off .rinse off and voila .then wash your car .wheels come off real clean and it seems to me that brake dust does not stick to wheels as much ,maybe kuz product leaves a protecting film on wheels . also check out on YouTube ammo nyc videos , guy has a serious ocd about clean cars . he has a lot of very good advice .

Since getting my HRE matte black wheels, I have been using Chemical Guys Meticulous Matte wash and Dr.Beasley Matte Wheel Seal. The wheel seal helps keep them clean a bit longer and makes cleaning them the next time super easy.

Apply C-Quartz UK to them and top with CarPro Reload a few days later. Like any synthetic sealant, it prevents the dust from "sticking" to the wheel and makes cleaning SO much easier.

+1 on Dr. Beasley's products:
Matte body wash for regular wheel washes, Matte wheel cleanser for when brake dust, etc deposits get crazy, and seal them up with light application of Matte wheel seal monthly or bi-monthly to prevent deposition build-up and make clean up SO much easier.
