Yes that's it. It's on consignment since I'm doing a lot of traveling this summer and won't have time to deal with a buyer.

LOL, this will never happen. How would the new owner feel getting a BS without that badge?

googled it, man thats one nice car.
The more I think about it the more i realize i'd be better off buying a 507 or BS than upgrading my 2010 with wheels designed to look like 507/bs and all the other bits.

They won't fit pre-FL cars unless you have 2010+ mirrors installed.

Still have the HREs. I have had several people try and buy them. It's been an interesting experience to say the least. 90% of them disappear when they see how much it costs to ship them. These are 20" wheels, and will cost a few hundred depending on location (US) just because of the size of the boxes. Had buyers in Hong Kong and India. Shipping was $1k. What did they expect? The other 10% try and haggle the shipping price. They have me scratching my head. I'm not FedEx. I don't decide what it cost to ship. I also can't wrap my head around the fact that these guys drive $100k+ cars and want to put $10k HREs on them, but don't want to pay $3k plus shipping. LOL Makes me wonder how many of them live paycheck to paycheck just to afford a nice car. Peter from NextMod wanted to buy them for a customer of his but didn't feel $3500 shipped from Cali to NY was a good enough deal. Blew my mind. Nothing but window shoppers and daydreamers. That's all I've been dealing with. When I lowered the price originally, I thought it'd be nice to give a forum member a great deal. I don't need the money, nor the wheels, but I'm not going to give them away. If they don't sell in the next couple weeks, the price is going back up.

your price is REALLY good for HRE's. too bad most of us don't have a black series or they would have sold fast. I'm just shocked that people with as you said a 100k car balk at 3500 for forged wheels.

That seems pretty crazy for shipping though. I would imagine a set of 4 rims (tires? no tires?) shouldn't cost more than $150-$200 shipped from Cali to NY

Nevermind, re-read it, you're seeling the rims for just $3k. Thats crazy.

Thanks, it's nice to know I'm not going crazy for thinking I set a fair price. I had the wheels listed at $5k originally, and was expecting low ball offers, which I would have entertained. I wasn't expecting low ball offers when I listed them at $3k.

shipping has just gone way up over the past year, it's crazy how much just shipping a 1lb box can be with fedex and ups much less 4 wheels and tires since they charge extra for odd sized packages.

I shipped these wheels with tires on them from Orlando, FL to San Diego, CA about 2 years ago, and it cost me around $480. FedEx won't let me ship them in the boxes I have because they're old boxes and the corners are soft, so they're also charging for new boxes and packaging material. So the price includes packaging and shipping. It's only for the wheels, but due to the size of the boxes, they charge more than you'd think.

U have to have a commercial account with those shipping company to get good rates, individuals like us get raped for sure.

I'm surprised Nextmod couldn't send their shipping company to pick them up as they deal with them on a daily basis.

You're absolutely right about that. Shipping costs are unreasonable.

I'm not sure why NextMod didn't offer to pick up. I'd imagine they were trying to increase their profit margin on the wheels and maybe their customer had already agreed on a set price. Just speculation.

That wheel situation is unbelievable!! I can't believe that vendor didn't close the deal! $3k for a set of multipcs HREs is a steal for someone who wants 20" on his/her BS.
Man! I made up my mind already a month ago..... you get me thinking again .

Haha, don't think for too long. A fellow member with a commercial shipping account reached out to me and offered to help me ship at a much reduced shipping cost (which I'm sincerely grateful for the kind gesture). So I emailed a potential buyer with the new figures. Tick tock tick tock...
