Quote: We've got the same car!! Looks good man! I've added a couple little cosmetic mods.. Limo tints, blacked out window trim and all chrome bits.

Is it Gloss black or matte that you did over the chrome bits around the windows?

Looks incredible! Great work. Im not a fan of the murdered out look myself (even tho my car is close to murdered out . What you've done nicely rides the balance between classy and murdered out. Nicely done.

Only thing that now stands out to me are the wheels, I just never liked those stock 5 spokes. I really love the 507 wheels

Thank you for the kind words! I'm also not a huge fan of the murdered out look so I decided to keep most pieces like the door handle, part of the grill, and emblems chrome.

I really like the 507 wheels as well, but I would probably go with the brushed style instead of black just to give it more contrast. Wonder how much a set costs?

Quote: I blacked out everything, added tints, lowered, etc. on my P31 Sedan. -I loved the look but it depends on what youre after

Something that not many people do but I loved was a light smoke tint on the rear tail lights with the centers cut out! Subtle but looked so good on the dark car!

Are you lowered on coils, or springs? I've been looking at a set of CF10's and want to know if there's any rubbing with H&R springs. Also how are the wheels holding up? I've seen a lot of complaints with forgestars cracking, which has me concerned. But for the price and the look they seem like a good option

Im just gonna say stuff others say. With maybe one exception.

Tint marker lights.
Put spacers on or get new rims.
Lower on H&R sports or KW coilovers
Get a tune.
Mod your grill somehow. Either black the surround or the center bar (leaves a floating star, kind of a cool look).

Do NOT tint your windows. Yes, I had a black C63, and yes I tinted. Wish I didn't in a lot of ways. No tint on a black car is a very clean, very sporty look. As soon as you tint, you are approaching murdered out. Which you said you wanted to avoid. Nothing wrong with the murder, I mean look at thesaintUSA's car, I like that a lot, but you said you were avoiding that so I would not tint.
LEAVE the window chrome if you do not tint. I have seen it both ways, and untinted its better with the chrome.

Thats my two cents, having owned and obsessively looked at Black C63s for 4 years. Your very close here, this is a damn fine looking car, just needs some stance and some small details.

Great job!

It's been said before but i would recommend tinting (35-20%). IMO tints are an easy aesthetic mod that differentiates from stock vehicles. A limo tint (5%) is nice too but you've mentionned wanting to stay away from "murdered out" look.

I would also recommend H&R lowering springs (3/4" drop) to give a more aggressive stance and a set of wheels (recommended options that fit within your suggested budget):
  • Forgestar: CF5V or CF10
  • VMR: V701 or V810
  • Zito: ZS15 or ZO5
Happy to help with any of the above - DM

Cheers,
Stephan
