Part Number Request - Front suspension strut bearing
Hey Guys,
I need to replace the front strut bearings on my car. A few months after I installed my H&R Coil overs, I started to develop an annoying "clunking" sound over small bumps at low speed.
This is a common issue with H&R Coil overs from what I gather, apparently the front strut bearings prematurely fail due to the design of the H&R Struts.
Either way its a simple fix, I just wanted to verify the part number with you guys.
I think all I need is the below part number, for those who are more part number inclined / tech savvy can you please confirm if this part will work a 2010 C63 sedan. Im going to swap out both sides (only the drivers side is making noise) but I figured since i'm in there I would change both of them.
Appreciate your help.

I also have that annoying "clunking" sound. I plan on replacing the strut bearing but I was wondering if it is necessary to replace the upper strut mount. Is that a wear type item?

Upper strut mount bearings are usually the first to go with the H&R Coil overs for some reason.
I would suggest just changing the strut mount bearings (they are in-expensive) however labor costs more then the part itself.

Did you ever hear a squeak as well? I get a squeak from Driver Front when I turn the wheel to the left.
Could be the spring seat as well. Haven't pulled it apart yet, just tried cleaning while still on the car.
