Beautiful, these wheels are a work of art and Matt does a great job on them. I loved the leather airbag on Perry's and was happy Matt had his up for sale so I nabbed it.

you guys with all the CF ever see the exterior CF fade? Reason I ask is because the side mirrors I got from Macarbon seem to be fading and becoming discolored......kind of annoying since they were so expensive...........any thoughts from the CF guru's?

I think how fast it will happen depends on how much time your car spends in the sun and how strong the sun is in your area. Yes it is disturbing to hear of it happening on a MAcarbon piece. I have not had to deal with this issue yet as I keep my car garaged and the sun here in NB Can is relatively weak compared to more southern points. Is it possible to have a body shop sand off the degraded surface layer of clear coat and reclear the mirror housings? Maybe coat the CF with a wax that has some UV blockers in it. A303 is a spray on product for vinyl and plastic with UV inhibitors. Never know it might help.

Mod 10 - Axiom FLY M1
I installed my summer wheels and tires. These are a carry forward from my 2010 C63 so not actually a new mod for this car but nice all the same.
The front are 19 x 8.5 ET +45 and the rear are 19 x 10 ET +52. The barrels are gloss black, the lips are CF and the centres are brushed tinted clear. These wheels are a Reverse (Flat) lip and that makes them look larger than they are.
I am running Michelin PSS 235/35/19 front and 265/30/19 rear. I was running 245/35/19 front and 275/30/19 rear but got a screw in one of the rear tire sidewall so I had to get a new tire and 275 was not available at the time. I went with 235 for the front as I was having rubbing issues with the 245 on my 2010. I think I can run them on the 2012 when the time comes for replacement if they aren't too old by then.

Mod 11 - KW V3
I had H&R springs on my 2010 and I was perfectly happy with them but this time I decided to step up to coilovers. I looked at H&R coilovers and Fortune 500 coilovers but in the end decided to spend the money on the best. The install went really well and the car came out almost perfect. I just wish they went a little lower and I am lowered as far as they will go on the right side but not quite on the left. I set them up using Rsquad911's settings he got from his brother and they seem good there and the handling feels great. I do feel a little bit of a bounce at low speeds but that may be due to the Michelin tires as I remember them feeling a little that way on my last car. The car is not pulling left or right (which the 2010 did) and the toe-in and camber came out very balanced side to side. Very pleased with this mod. Without any adjustment yet the toe is 0*0' front and rear and the camber is -3* front and -2*25' left rear and 2*10' right rear. So very close side to side and the only adjustment I might make is to reduce the front camber closer to -2* and put a little toe back into the front. Just normal street driving it feels great the way it is so maybe I will just leave it. Maybe just a tiny bit of adjustment required yet and play around with the settings a bit to see what I like. I am running a 10mm spacer on the front and nothing on the rear. After I lower the camber on the front I will see if it is a little more flush and if not will try a 12mm spacer up front. Just don't want rubbing issues on the front like I had on the 2010.

Ur car is looking great!!
Ur front could definitely use some spacers or meatier tires. I'm surprised u were rubbing with 245/35/19 on 19x8.5 +45.

Still working on the front stance. This car handled the suspension changes caused by lowering differently than the 2010. I could only run a 5mm spacer on the front with 235s on it. I think the caster changes were larger on the 2010 causing the wheels to push forward more in the wheel well. This in turn caused the wheels to rub on the joint between the front fender/bumper joint. The 245s only made this worse because of the larger diameter tire and the left front rubbed on the fender liner behind the headlight when turning. I will lower the camber some and see how that works because I don't think I need -3* on the street. If that is not enough I will try a 12mm spacer.

Having fun modding this car. More to come.

nice! sometimes i think i should have sat tight and waited on the right FL model car but i like what I have. I wish the pre fl cars had the black piece in the front bumper that filled the gap like the FL models do.
the black lip on those wheels gives quite the optical illusion in the shade, almost like there arent tires.

Thanks rentzington. I love the CF lips but unless you are up close and in pictures they do disappear into the tire. Sometimes I think a lighter lip would have been a better choice. Must not dwell on it...LOL

I rub a little on the right rear and only running a 265 PSS. I was able to run 275 PSS on the same wheels on the 2010. Each car is a little different. The only thing I think I can do is trim the metal joiner that goes between the quarter panel and rear bumper. Waiting to be looked at. I am happy with the 265 and in the PSS are they are almost identical in size anyway. Only .2" difference in tread and section width and .3" in diameter so I don't mind staying with the 265.

I have a Renntech decklid spoiler installed (waiting on pics) and a V style front lip and big fin diffuser en route from RW Carbon (thanks Matt).
I also have K-Mac bushings front and rear and adjustable top strut plates that I will be installing. I don't even think I really need them except to adjust the front camber but I have them so I will install them and play around with the alignment a bit.

Mort I can't believe i missed this post!
Congrats on the upgrade my friend, she is beautiful. Im sure you are already plotting the next round of upgrades
Did you get rid of your last beast with the exhaust setup still on? Or did you remove the parts?
Either way, your already doing it right. That Steering wheel is mint. The colour combo is perfect.

I have been living on your video for my exhaust sound addiction.
I did keep the exhaust so it is just finding the time to install it. The gaskets, manifold nuts and studs are at the dealer waiting to be picked up. I even bought O2 extensions to mount the O2s after the race cats to see if I can run with them active.
