Hows the new gear box compared to the PFL C63? If you were to have 1 thing from the PFL on the new car, what would it be? Just out of curiosity
Sometimes I think the LTHs draw too much attention to the car when it might not be wanted. But....the sound and hp are so addicting..... Still kind of kicking it around in my head.
The MCT is great and I have not developed any special likes or dislikes about it. Both the converter 7 speed and the MCT seem to work very well for the way I drive. The MCT does clunk a little once in a while downshifting at slow speeds. It doesn't really bother me but I have noticed it a few times. Happy to have it but not really a deal maker/breaker to me. I don't drive much in M so the shift speeds are not an issue. I paddle around in C most of the time and S+ if I am feeling adventurous. I do use the paddles to shift most of the time regardless of the mode I am in.
Interesting that you inquire about the 1 thing from the PFL car I would like to have on the new car. I guess I must have moved on as I could not really think of anything. That being said, it might be nice to have the more aggressive front fascia from the PFL.

Mod 12 - Renntech Decklid Spolier
I installed this last fall but just posting pics now. I know, my bad...something to ease the winter blues....LOL
Thanks to Vivid Racing and Jacky for great pricing and service.
This is one nice piece of CF and certainly a wonderful addition to the C63. I think this is a quality plus piece and defining, you get what you pay for. I installed it myself and while not difficult I was a little off in my approach and it stuck before I could get it perfect. Not a big deal and say a 95% but you know just that little bit...
I installed my summer wheels and tires. These are a carry forward from my 2010 C63 so not actually a new mod for this car but nice all the same.
The front are 19 x 8.5 ET +45 and the rear are 19 x 10 ET +52. The barrels are gloss black, the lips are CF and the centres are brushed tinted clear. These wheels are a Reverse (Flat) lip and that makes them look larger than they are.
I am running Michelin PSS 235/35/19 front and 265/30/19 rear. I was running 245/35/19 front and 275/30/19 rear but got a screw in one of the rear tire sidewall so I had to get a new tire and 275 was not available at the time. I went with 235 for the front as I was having rubbing issues with the 245 on my 2010. I think I can run them on the 2012 when the time comes for replacement if they aren't too old by then.

Thanks Kriston. Taking my lead from your build preference for quality pieces.
Next: Front CF Spoilers, CF Diffuser, CF 507 Shift Knob, Red Stitched Black Leather Shift Boot, CF Dash Trim, CF Shift Trim, CF A/C Bezel, CF Grill, MBH LTHs, HMS Fender Flares, ROW Air Boxes w K&N filters, KMAC Camber Plates and Bushes and EC V5 Tune. That will keep me busy for a while...lol

On my 2010 I had no rubbing with the 275/30/19 MPSS. I will qualify that by saying I never had passengers in the rear and with the rubbing in the front it was hard to tell if the rear was rubbing. The tire never showed any sign of rubbing on the sidewall like the front did. My rear wheel is a 10x19 ET+52.
On my 2012 the same wheel rubs with a 265/30/19 MPSS on the right rear. Just a slight difference PFL to FL and maybe car to car. The tire shows light rub marks on the sidewall and wheel lip protection extension. The tire rubs on the metal joiner piece between the quarter panel and the bumper. It can be trimmed a mm or two I am sure but have not looked yet and with adding rear flares it will be removed all together.

Mod 6 - CF Interior Trim Revisited
I completed part of the CF Interior I was missing from Matt. The passenger side door trim is now complete and looks fantastic. I was feeling half dressed for a while...lol.
I also added a few additional pieces I had Matt do up for me and he did a fantastic job as usual. He did the Dash trim, AC surround, Shifter surround and 507 Shift knob with Napa leather boot with red stitching. This rounds out my CF interior mods and finishes my interior mods for now.
Once again a big thank you to Matt for a great job.
Woohoo, looks fantastic! They will match ur CF steering wheel perfectly .. The shift knob with red stitching on the boot is from Matt or Andrew? Love mine too.
