Can someone tell me what these are? [PIC]

I know they are headers
They were off an E63 (not sure if 211 or 212)

They will supposedly fit a C63.

Obviously they need a proper clean up etc.

Will they fit a C63?
Will these delete the primary cats? Or do they bolt up to the cats?

Thanks

Not sure of the brand. They definitely delete primary cats. It looks like they use a dump collector instead of a merge collector.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the type of collector has nothing to do with whether or not you can run cats. It's totally beside the point. O2 bungs are generally in the right place.

Looks to me like you could bolt up a pipe with cat right to the end of that header, as the placement would be about right.

You are correct. I should have put "additionally, they look like dump collectors." All long tube headers go in place of the downpipes that come off stock log manifolds and those log manifolds themselves. The stock downpipes have the primary cats in them. I haven't looked that closely down there but I think smaller cats would be needed to bolt up to LTHs, kind of like the ARH setup.

^ Agree. Sorry my bad I should have gotten that. Race Technology and other high-flow cats are generally smaller too. The cats that came with my MBH setup are much smaller than stock.

Not the best pic, but you can see how small they are here. Could tuck right in behind those headers above. Assuming of course that they fit in the first place. The tight space requirements with the C63 might not be taken into consideration for those headers if the manufacturer was an E-specific shop. I have no idea how tight the space is for those? Without seeing the headers head-on it's tough to tell...

Unless they are a custom one-off set, there are only a select few companies making these so odds are pretty good they should be a decent quality.
Good luck op and Happy Modding!

Nice headers, minus the horrible collector.

That collector is crap for performance. They should have a high flow merge collector on there.
