Corner bulb
i just installed a red euro plate on my silver c63, but now the orange reflectors look out of place.. i decided that i will paint them to match the body. my question is, what bulb can i put behind there so that way it looks clean, and not ricey behind the silver paint?
pics would be nice.

I left my bulbs in tact and after many attempts feel that I reached a solution.
Cut some piece of material to fill the inside, in my case I used a felt furniture anti-skid pad, and then paint both the outside AND the inside of the cover. It worked great on the 2 other C63's I had.

Just get an led bulb, break the led bulb with a screwdriver, place it in the corners. The car will not throw any errors and no light will shine threw. I used one similar to this -

I wrapped my corners with gloss black vinyl. That is just the stock corner bulb I put back in to show. Even if you paint them, light will shine through. The led trick is pretty easy / cost effective, no errors.

Or, you can just get the chromed wedge bulbs that glow amber, which both look great when off (you can't tell there's a bulb in there at all even with the clear markers) and be legal when driving at night.

Essentially what you're doing there is only runnign the resistors (the car expects to see the resistance of a bulb and that's what the SMT resistors do - the little black blocks on the LED "bulb" PCBs). If no codes and no light is all you want, you dont even have to bother with an LED bulb - just put a resistor in place of the bulb.
