Leasing a C63

What kind of maintenance will this car require over the lease term? And how much does it cost? 3yr/30,000

Any lease I have ever had I only changed oil.

Did u mean 3 year 30,000 miles? If so, that is only 3 oil changes and you will need a set of tires.

yeah think its 3yr 10k mi a year lease.

you wont need more than oil changes and whatever the service intervals are, if you have an LSD that oil has to be changed after 3k mi i believe then again at 40 so you shouldnt need the second one.

i want to say youd need the 20k service which i think its slightly more than an oil change but i may be wrong.

Hum leasing 3 years with a total 10,000 miles is just plain stupid. Op cost per mile will be close to $3 a mile lol.

Op you dont need to perform any service intervals. If I was leasing this car have them throw services in for free just ensure they dont charge tou on your monthly payment otherwise they will smoke you

There is definitely a typo here.

He must have meant 3 oil changes (every 10k miles OR 1 year) and three sets of tires

Can't say I'll be in much better shape after 3 years buying outright.

I've been told that the prepaid maintenance is a better deal for a lease than purchase (somehow it gets depreciated or something)

Yes, get the prepaid maintenance. The only thing you'll have to deal with is payment, gas, insurance, and tires of course!

I believe it's around $1400. The B service at 20K will be over $1000 at the dealership by itself if you decide to pay for it out of pocket.

Just call any MB dealership, ask what the 10/20/30k maint costs are. Compare the total to the pre paid, and see for yourself. I believe with the lease, it's residualized as well.

Retail pricing and maybe a little on the high side. Pricing varies by dealer and around the country so this is a ballpark only. Dealer should sell a prepaid plan for less.

A1 (10000m or 1 year)(oil change and inspection) ~$250
Change rear axle fluid(1800m - LSD only) ~$150
B1 (20000m or 2nd year)(oil change/major inspection;HVAC filter) ~$450
Change brake fluid (2 years) ~$150
A2 (30000m or 3rd year)(oil change and inspection)~$250
Total ~$1250

I think a 3 year prepaid plan should be (just a guess) ~ $800

I don't think this is true. The lessee is responsible for maintenance.

Nope. Its not in lease contract and I have leased several cars in the past and different manufacturers as well. No issues whatsoever not performung service maintenance.

But each to his own.

Dealer near buy said for a c63 C service at 30k is going to be about $250. He mentioned that B is the most expensive at 20k. But you need B service again at 40k.

That is correct as this is what I was told from the dealership. But my fear is what if the brake pads go bad, will I have to buy new AMG brake pads etc?Because that sure won't be costing anywhere close to couple of 100s.
Any idea?

You can use any brand pads man, search around many people use porterfield racing pads that are lower dust. I'll be doing mine before long (when it's out of the shop) some how to guides show it being easy

Not sure what the pad intervals are on the c63 but you may not even need pads in 30k mi

Are you leasing through MB Financial Services? Maybe it is different in Canada. Item 10 of The First Class Lease for our 2011 MB GLK 350 states:

10. I will, at my own expense , service the vehicle according to the manufacturer's recommendations and keep it in good condition and running order. I will also keep complete maintenance booklets and return them with the vehicle.
