Eurocharged Tune Gas Mileage
Hi everyone,
I just purchased a 2014 C63. I'm considering purchasing the V5 Eurocharged tune (unless convinced otherwise) for the obvious reasons.
I drive about 85 miles a day in the car, and I'm curious if I will save some $$ in gas savings by having the tune. Has anyone noticed a substantial MPG increase?

I did a reset on mine today while I was on the highway and didn't really notice a difference in MPG. I installed the V5 tune a few days ago. I averaged about 21mpg.

[QUOTE=hawkins6423;6433482]Come on, I have to rationalize to the wife somehow
"Honey, I'm going green. I'm going to get my engine tuned to save fuel?"
I like it...

At this point you might as well just flat out lie to the wife. Tell her it's some software update that MB requires that is not under warranty. The forum will back you up.

The only fuel economy with this car is that we all participate to the economy by putting large amount of fuel in our cars....
Seriously, no mpg gain with tune. If anything you'll enjoy the car more, using the throttle more and getting even worse mpg and... a larger grin.

What you "might" (and you most certainly will not) make up in gas, you will lose in tires. Haha.

I get between 19 and 21 on the highway. About 5 at the track. I have to fuel up at lunch time when I go to the track because these cars consume big fuel and have SMALL fuel tanks......go figure
