People with headers, best excuse if you get pulled over?
I just got long tube headers and x pipe installed and I absolutely love it! My question for everyone is if you were to get pulled over, what excuse would you give the cop regarding the noise and smell? I would say I just deleted the resonator and hopefully he buys it. I live in SoCal and unfortunately they're strict here.

Don't think the resonator excuse is any better just tell them you bought the car like that and our mufflers are very visible CHP and local cops probably won't even think u did anything to the exhaust

I'd just say that it's a primary feature of AMG models. Loud exhausts.

Then, I'd take the ticket and pay the fine. Pay to play my friend.

Would the average officer even know? I'd just say hey amgs are loud...but really as far as noise and smell what's he going to do pull out a decibel reader and do a roadside sniff test?

Don't know about the average officer but once i got pulled over, they surrounded my car, made me turn it off and leave the key on the passenger seat.
