Great question about the pads, I would prefer one for street use since mine is a daily driver with zero track use. Looks like 910 but if one is available for street only compound that meets the below, great!!
1. street compound
2. low dust option
3. low noise
We usually only list standard/common options, anything else is handled manually including pricing adjustment for pre-order discount/free shipping etc. as the order is received.
After revision you will receive you a revised invoice, so you can review and approve the order before processed, and your credit card is not charged until the shipment is effected at the revised amount.
As to the brake fluid, although RBF660 has a slight higher boiling temperature but cost 30% more than RBF600, so most our track customers either use RBF 600 or upgrade to Castrol SRF which is considered as a better choice than RBF 660 (Being SRF is 1 Liter, RBF660 is 1/2 liter so the the price is about the same.)
Please place the order first and other options (including RBF-660) can be further adjusted including brake pads so to ensure your order is configured to your need.

Learn how RB brake pads make this SL550 owner happy.
So I went to the dealer and had the pads and rotors checked. so I have plenty of pad and rotor left still both front and back. So now the dilemma. Don't really need brakes but you always need bigger rotors :-\
Can you pm me the price of what it will be once the pre-buy is done?
The pre-order discount and free shipping offer is good until 6/30. After that you still can order the kit but the price will be the sales price listed at that time (subject to change).

Ok so I have some time to think it over. At this point this purchase is not a need necessarily, but a want. I was at least trying to justify it by checking the pads and rotors. We'll see by the end of the month.
Thanks for the order. We will review and amend your order per your optional choice and will send you a revised copy when done.
We started building the first kit for "Wobble64", both brake line and rear calipers are also received, and we hope to get his order out sometime early/mid of next week.
I don't quite get it why not more C63 owners are all over this. Don't they understand that this is excellent value?
It is going to be tight, but I am planning to install it all myself over July 4 weekend to be ready for NCM July 11. Hopefully it will work out time-wise.
I would like to purchase as well. For clarification, is price $4200 USD or Canadian as suggest above? Also, does this Pre-Order Offer Price include our choice of Pad Compound - XT vs ET? Or is the XT pads offered at discount price?
TIA
Hi there,
the prices are in USD. However, if you still can get in to the introduction price, you would actually get another 10% off and free shipping thrown in!
You can select any pad from their range - ET or XT, although the prices vary a bit. Give RacingBrake a call tomorrow for details.
My set should arrive towards the end of next week and will go in over the weekend. Can't wait!

Actually, with the group buy discount, this is only about $900 more.
And this kit will be light years better.
Oh yeah, and this:

If you want to switch to 18 inch winter tires, which I also will do, you will need to swap out the front rotor and caliper adapter back to stock when changing wheels (about 15 min additional work per wheel, no need to open the brake circuit or bleed the brakes; it is plug and play). The rear can stay the same in winter as in summer.
Mr747, you are right, it all starts with whether you want bigger brakes or not. If you do not need it then stock brakes are not bad actually.
If you want to size up to BS dimensions then you need rear calipers (about 950 among friends) and front adapters. And custom rear rotors with the special hat.
With the discount that means that after all that the larger RB rotors are actually cheaper than the smaller Girodisc ones. That's at least how I talk myself into it. LOL
But they are a heck of a lot more expensive than just keeping the stock ones..... haha
Btw, no picture of the front rotor, I guess, because they are SHIPPED!

Wobble, will I be able to put my 18" rims on the back with my drag radials for drag racing? My understanding is that I'll be able to.... but I could be wrong?
