FS: 2009 C63 Tenorite/BLK 56k miles and a few goodies
It's with some regret that I have to sell the car. My wife is 7.5 months pregnant and being a single car family we've made the decision to move onto something bigger, newer and a whole lot slower .
I'm looking for a quick sale since things are going to get hectic in the NEAR future.
Here's some info on the car:
2009 C63
VIN: WDDGF77XX9F213532
56,000 miles (still being driven about 10miles a day currently at 55956)
Tenorite Grey with black interior
New tint (top of the line 3m)
As far as I can tell it's has everything except the performance package.
It has a Velos tune which I am very happy with. It made 411whp but I don't remember the type of dyno.
Currently lowered on Fortune Auto 500 series coilover with all available upgrades (bearing, swift springs). I'm also throwing in an OEM set with only 3k miles on them.
The car comes with OEM rims and RE-11 tires(new rears not even installed) and a set of winter rims (sport edition 18x8 all around on 225/40/R18 Michelin Alpine PA4)
The car comes with a Zurich warranty (platinum coverage) which covers everything the OEM does and then some! valid until June 2016 or up to 75K miles. The warranty was 6k.
Up to date on all services, likely will bring it in for an oil change prior to sale.
New discs and pads(Porterfield R4S) as of 2014 - (about 6k on them)
Generic CF front lip which likely will need to be replaced.
Condition of the car:
Overall good condition, a few light scratches here and there and 2 nics on the rear bumper due to sub-par drivers not knowing how to judge distances when parallel parking. The interior is in great shape with only a scratch on the passenger side bolster. Likely my wife's purse scratch it. It's not torn and could easily be addressed.
Now for the BAD .... the front bumper has a chunk missing near the wheel well. Drove through a pothole in upstate NY which was more the size of a small canyon but the dip cause the bumper to scrape and bend which broke off a piece. I'm guessing the sub 0 temperatures didn't help. In any case, I purchased a new Mercedes OEM bumper that is in my basement that needs to be painted and installed.
So here goes, I'm asking 32k for the car due to lower mileage, warrantly and extra goodies. At this price, I would take care of getting the bumper painted and installed. If you have your own paint guy you swear by then I would let the car go for 31k with obviously all the parts and unpainted bumper(not installed).
I'm obviously open to negotiations and reasonable offers but please don't give me the "I'll give you 22k for the car..."
Thanks,
JF

Seems like you have the same year and mileage as me. Even the dealer will offer you at least 25k. You should be getting close to 30k though. Funny living in NY you have the same problems as me with pothole damage lol. GLWS

$32k with the warranty is a good deal. GLWS. You may be better off parting out a few items if you can, like the winter wheel/tire combo. It may increase your overall $$ you get.

Thanks! It might have to get to that but for now I'd prefer to just provide a well rounded package!

There was no damage to the winter wheel. The pothole wasn't harsh as much as it was deep ... it sloped in and out. As for the rear dumper, I'll take a picture and add it in a few minutes.

Hello, How many owners and have you had any warrantee work done with Zurich warranty. There reputation does not seem to be that good, a lot of bad stories.
Has the factory warrantee run out.
What other service work has been done to the car and what mileage does the brakes have on them. Did I understand you correctly that you have all the original suspension parts
Please send photos of the damaged front bumper and lip.
Thanks John
