Baby seatS in c63 sedan. let's see em
got 2nd kid coming
and need 2 baby seats in the car now.I got a rear facing (which pushes the passenger seat forward a lot) and going to need a front facing in the middle as well...I would like to keep it empty behind the driver seat so I have some leg room. if It doesn't work out I will be forced to let the c go.
I haven't purchased the 2nd seat yet ... just wondering how is it with yall dads.
ill be keeping the E and look into 08+ range rover sport sc or 08+ cayenne v6 or S if I had to let the c go. any input on those will be great as well.
thanks

first is only 9 month old lol .. the rear facing I put behind the passger side really pushes it forward a lot.
I see... but I already have a graco rear facing .. is it possible to put a forward facing in the middle ?
would you mind sharing some pictures?
thanks
i have one of these for my nephew ..tons of room and its insanely light weight, could easily fill the back seat up with 3 of those no problems and its only around $75 CAD, so probably like $5 USD

Seriously it will be a tight fit to install 2 rear facing car seats w/o using the driver side.

It fits nicely behind my seat without the base, and I'm 6'2". Only thing that sucks without the base is that it's a PITA taking it out into the stroller. It fits with the base, but I'm not comfortable at all. On the plus side, you can get the seat in Alcantara, which matches the car nicely.
As for different cars, I just picked up a GLA45 which fits 3 kids out back with tons of driver/passenger room. Rear facing Peg Perego for the newborn, front facing convertible (Britax Marathon) for the 2 year old, and enough space in the center for the 8 year old (no booster). It's like having as much room as a SUV yet drives and handles like a car.

If you really want to squeeze one of then in the middle, the narrowest forward facing seat on the market is the Diono Radian. Since it is all steel (and heavy as hell) it is 17 inches wide.
Realistically, consider buying a different car seat for $300 rather than a car for $80K (or so). If you really want to buy a new car, you should compare the shoulder room to fit 3 car seats (like under features and specs secitons on Edmunds.com). Wife picked up a VW GLI and it is very tight with two boosters and a Diono Radian, since the space is 53.6 in. THe kids actually get in and out without unlocking the seat belt. Of course, you are in a different situation.
