Ummmmm.... don't mean to hijack here, just don't want the OP to get derailed with someone who doesn't know what they're talking about.

and im not a push over, if someone wants to call me and my friends a liar then their stupid as **** and don't even deserve an ounce of respect. it's that simple, i'm not going to let some human being try and belittle me

i provided PROOF and you guys seem to be blind or cannot read..not my problem

and nope, i know exactly what crank HP and WHP is, it's you retards who think a modern AMG has a 25%+ crank to WHP loss..not me, go online and find a converter and type in 562 CRANK HP and come back with the corrected WHP for the AMG, I'm going to guess it's roughly 450-470 WHP ...but yet some how 500WHP+ isn't "possible" with a custom exhaust, stright pipes, row boxes, pulley, and a few other engine mods...OK

South Park - Nice....15 Mins Compilation..of..Nice - YouTube

not my fault you guys live in cities with polluated air that makes your car run like junk, maybe go drive by a ocean once in awhile and see the difference with cold crisp air VS crappy garbage city air.

yeah..my car is pushing 500whp ..you guys run a OFF THE SHELF tune and cry about low dyno numbers..infact a member was banned here for talking about custom tunes and whats possible..i ran 489.6whp with Velos tune/OE and then a bit less with EC

i mean theres atleast 10+ eurocharged threads at once about people just going crazy over it..then they whine about how they ran 340whp ..well what do you expect, it's a generic tune

I imagine it's pushing closer to 550whp

where did i claim it made 550whp exactly? i said..CLOSER, i never said "Oh no it's going to be 550whp dead on and everyones wrong" ..do you understand how words work?

Maybe you should go back to school and learn to read, it put down 489 with a off the shelf tune and ROW boxes, since then i had a custom tune / pulley / upgraded diff / oil air seperator

you do realize what a custom tune is right? you sit there for 2-3 hours with the tuner and a dyno and tweak the file..you do know that can be done?

Please post dyno sheet lol... Pulley gives 10-12 whp tops. Upgraded diff= zero. Oil air separator= zero. You do realize your saying that your car is making more power then dads c63 and that had a full 3 inch exhaust with longtubes, renntech airbox, and heads and cams and that also was custom dyno tuned...........

That definitely ain't just secondary cat delete!!
I have secondary cat delete and my car doesn't even sound half as good!!

Back on topic....
I have a pre FL P31, it apparently has a tune but no idea what tune is on it.
I've ran a stock FL P31 (I never had the cat delete either at the time), and I pulled away quite convincingly.
So that technically would mean you get some decent gains on a P31.

C63 P31
Love to see what the results are. This "P31 Tuning" debate never ends up being resolved with so many conflicting opinions. I've been holding back from the V5 tune for the past year now because of this. Hard to justify $1000+ for little to nothing.

However the comment about the "generic tune" is rather correct. The variation between c63s are rather significant sometimes, and it would make sense that some cars will take the tune much better then others. But I'd rather not rely on luck. For those with the tune how dramatic is this increase in throttle sensitivity and response with gear changes? Do these improvements justify the tune even if it gives minimal gains?

I have a p31 with v5 and I think it was a waste of money, the only difference i notice is the throttle is now touchy. If you want your throttle remapped you can buy one of those generic boxes on eBay that gets wired in between the pedal and cost like $25. Save the money unless you have a base c63.

OMG TOTALLY! You should add an electric supercharger while you're at it, they're only like 70 bucks on Amazon. It's worth like a hundred horsepower.

I never had oe,my car is p31 coupe and was bone stock in the vids.
I got ec v5 n throttle response changed alot not sure about power increase since i never got a chance to vbox.
I have issues with the handheld device it wont let me upload more than one file, basically if i reset it to new it only accepts one file, been in toucj with ec they tried fixing it to no luck.
I also got mhp lth catless with xpipe installed but only drove to the dealer with them installed on stock tune for pano roof clunk.
I did manage to upload the header file into my handheld n will report back when i get the car back next week
