Designo Magno Platinum C63 Edition 507: LakeShow
Well it's been a very long time since I had in mind an idea to start up a thread showing some progress of my 507. Well I just never got around to it so I figured I just share some photos of what it looks like now in it's completed phase. The car as it sits in factory Designo matte paint and Edition 507 Sedan is quite a rare and unique car. I've never seen another one like it personally. It's only one of a few in the U.S. like it. What I had in mind for this car was to portray a look that this is how it rolled of the factory assembly line, or better put as "it should've". I think this car was practically perfect in stock form, just needed some carbon fiber amenities. With the help of my good friends at Mode Carbon, I think it's just a masterpiece now.
Only other notable mods I did apart from small things is the Eurocharged V5 Tune and a secondary cat delete. Again with the sound I wanted to retain the stock AMG bark and legendary noise, this combo did just that and went above and beyond my expectations. The car sounds absolutely savage now, it just makes some absurdly loud snap, crackles, and pops. Pedestrians stop in their tracks to listen, and other drivers give respectable compliments. My car may not be as loud as headers, but I always tell people this, there's a difference between sounding loud and sounding good. Just because it's louder doesn't mean it necessarily sounds better. Sorry I don't have any proper sound clips!
Anyways I just wanted to share some pics, some of you may have seen this car sometime before it's been posted on all the Official Mercedes Benz Accounts on Instagram and Facebook, if you are affiliated with those social media sources. I don't have Facebook but so I've been told my car was on there apparently. Regardless here's some pics Sorry forgot to warn you, PIC HEAVY!
Last but not least the day I picked her up in Cali

Thank you so very much Zibby!! The kind words really mean a lot! That aggressive and clean look is what I've worked at achieving, and hearing I'm among the top 204's I feel humbled! Thanks Zibby! And that gif of the Rock clapping is gold haha!

So epic!
I hear you on the exhaust too. I had your exact setup (v5 and secondary delete) before going with headers.
The headers of course unleash a different kind of beast, but I do miss that old setup. I recall getting more compliments with it too.

Man after my own heart, cracking example and you have tastefully made the right additions including the exhaust mod, mine is also just the secondary cat delete ( with a miltek part ) and its perfect.
Love the shots, if I ever decide to wrap mine as I often have moments !, this is one of two colour options I'm going with, be hard pushed to find a better execution of a 204 Saloon
Hats off to you Sir
