Haha... no, that was wishful thinking on my part! But we should contact them regarding a group buy price and see what they say. I'll volunteer to contact them and see..
Damn I thought you were serious.. Im sure a bunch of people would have been down for that!

OK so I talked to Matt at RW Carbon yesterday (great guy and VERY easy to get ahold of by the way) and he is looking into both the Gruppe M style carbon air intake and the Carbonio style airboxes & intake combo. He is going to get back to me and let me know what he finds as far and what kind of pricing he could offer for a group-buy. I will start a new thread for this to gauge interest once we have something in the works. Fingers crossed...

So I ended up buying the intake through JL Motoring, great price with free shipping and it should be here within a week hopefully so don't have to worry about long shipping from china! I needed this quick because I am planning to do a dyne tune soon.
So I finally picked up my car after various delays with parts and labor and all. Still getting used to the car so can't really say much about performance differences yet. One thing however- that transmission seems to have a hesitation in first and second gear right at 2k rpm. Maybe the new tcu and valve body hasn't completely adapted yet? Or is it supposed to be like that after the upgrade (more aggressive)?
Also, I want to look into deleting the EGRs like the stage 3, if it yields any performance or any benefits..
So we put my car on the dyno over the weekend (I missed it- was in chicago for a wedding) but my indy and his shop were watching over it. eurocharged was in town to do dyno tuning, so we took the car to a dyno shop which had a mustang dyno... before a dyno tune car did 543hp/548tq (florida summer- 95 degrees, high humidity). While tuning "it kept leaning out on the top end" so it was recommended we get some 550cc injectors once i put those on, add the tune and I will dyno it again. This was the first time i had the car on the dyno so i have nothing to compare for gains.
What do you guys think about 543 on a mustang dyno seem about right for a stage 2? Im going to go to the shop later today to check up and get my hands on the dyno graphs for you guys.
Also, if all is good, I might take the car out to the street racing made safe at WPBIR next saturday!

I pulled 578hp and 500tq last fall on a mustang dyno at 65 degrees and this summer pulled 540 and 490 tq and something felt off it seemed to have some belt slip and the blower was getting really hot on pulls and it was pulling timing. So to me your numbers seem about rite with the warm temps ect...

They also said 543 was uncorrected and corrected 640... not to make a big deal out of dyno numbers lol but its nice to know!
550cc injectors installed with the eurocharged dyno tune. Will try to get it dynoed again soon!
Also, my mechanic (the guy w the stage 3 p31) is offering me his drag radials in trade for my spare tire lol. Good deal? BF Goodrich still have good life left
Really? I thought there were some pre fl cars with it too interesting. I remember reading a couple different threads where people with the stage 2 started slipping on the 7g trans after some time. But for sure Ill post how it turns out!
That was probably my thread you saw. I see i'm late to the thread. My car had the blower on it for approx 15kmi or so before having constant slip issues into 3rd at full throttle. I rebuilt the transmission and got the vb/tcu upgrade done. Im about 18k-20kmi since and im starting to feel the transmission slip or hang a every now and then - may just be my paranoia (my wife daily drives it and says im being stupid but i know it's done it to me). This go around the transmission took even more abuse than previously, I did a 2 day road course event, even more trips to the drag strip than before with dedicated slicks. Lastly, running toyo r888's on it for daily driving - which dont allow for much spin if any spin at all. It's no where near not bad enough to bother rebuilding yet. I predict ill get another 5-10kmi before it's worth touching it. I have also changed the transmission fluid before the roadcourse day and added the transpan. I changed the fluid after the roadcourse aswell. Atleast now wiestec offers the clutch packs and pistons when the time comes I'll be able to upgrade it this go around.
Your car sounds like a monster and is performing how it should. Wait till you get some 50* temps without the humidity, the blower truly makes it an entirely different car. It returns that edginess you felt the first time you got behind the wheel when it's raining outside and your tires are getting bald lol. Enjoy it and dont think twice about it breaking, but i would start setting aside something for the transmission fund - but at your rate you may not need it for another 8yrs.
awesome lol i don't know, the numbers seemed kind of high to me, i was expecting closer to 600 whp don't know much about dynos or correction factors, just that mustang dynos are typically lower than others..

Yes I believe one of the threads was yours! So far car is running good but having traction issues on the 19s! I figure ill need the full trans build down the road but hopefully by that time ill be ready to go stage 3 haha and I'm sure my car isn't running its full potential with this hot and humid florida summer weather
oh yea i saw you mentioned egr delete. It's actually secondary air injection. This engine has no egr- it can do internal egr by just using camshaft timing adjustment to have big overlap. Secondary air injection is in no way going to affect power. It's only active in the first 30 seconds you cold start your car and typically whenever it is stopped or at a drive through to do the self test on the system. It sounds like a small vacuum cleaner when it is on. Basically it just pumps fresh air into your exhaust system during cold start to help the catalyst operate properly since you have to run the engine rich during cold starts.
