X pipe or Straight Pipe (mbh setup)

Hi guys,

My car is going in within the next month for mbh headers, catted mids.. so its either a x pipe or straight to replace resonator (to make full bolt on)

Who has what and whats sound better? from what I've heard x pipe is smoother ??

Cheers

None for now
Straight pipe (especially without resonator) and headers will be annoyingly loud. Get the X-pipe in place of the secondary cats and leave the resonator in. If you want louder, straight pipe the resonator later on. Post some videos of your setup!!

The X-pipe goes right after the mid-pipe and replaces the second cats. You can still remove the resonator if you like but It will still be full bolt on with resonator in place.

If you want it crazy loud straight pipes is the way to go. If you want it to be more refined and a little bit toned down then the Xpipe is where it is at.
Keep in mind, both will sound relatively the same and very controlled under easy driving. When you lay into the gas that is where the majority of the sound will come from.
Headers with mid-section and Xpipe is our most popular set up and it is what I run on my C63 daily driver.
