Cleaning up the w204 section
super job!!! This is a great start and we can definitely add and improve over time. This addresses probably 80% of the questions out there. Still a few gaps like Transmission and ECU Tuning, but a superb improvement over what we had.
Thank you very much!

Thanks!
By chance I stopped by a few days ago and the two things that caught my eye were this thread and the new single sticky which has been very, very helpful for someone like myself. I have now realized that this forum is just like many of the other enthusiast forums that I have been a part of. It is packed full of knowledge; basically everything you could ever need to know about this car, and it is comprised of passionate, willing to help individuals. This time I will stay!
Having said that, there is still room for improvement. I'm sure many of us here have been a part of a forum that just "made sense". For me the E9x M3 forum on bimmerpost is near perfection. There is literally a section for everything which makes it incredibly easy to find what you are looking for. Even the for sale section is broken down into different categories (the main two categories are owner or sponsor classifieds) such as engine, wheels, cars etc. I spend hours just browsing the for sale ads because it is so easy! I realize that this site probably does not have the level of activity to support this type of system, but I think most members would agree that having a separate for sale forum would be very beneficial. Even better there would be one forum for vendors and another for owner classifieds. I have to imagine that the aftermarket and enthusiast base for the C63, which is most likely growing due to lower purchase costs, is large enough to support such a small change.
I appreciate the great products that the vendors here offer, and have done business with my fair share in the past, but quite frankly seeing a thread day after day bumped by the same vendor is not only annoying, but it greatly degrades the level of class and sophistication this forum possess. In a more absolute sense there is a finite number of threads that this forum can support being bumped daily before it is completely over run by them and you have to go back several pages to see any actual member posts.
In summary I am very thankful for the work that has been done thus far, and would like everyone to know that it has greatly improved the usability and my enjoyment of the forum. However, my one suggestion is that some consideration be put into the use of our enthusiast owner forum for vendors commercial advertising.

A.) If someone is in need of a product it will be a little easier to find.
B.) It doesn't clutter up the "discussion" subsection.

6SpeedOnline turned into this when IB bought them as well. It's just how they choose to run their properties.
Edit: One last thought. I could put a "For Sale" thread specific for the W204 AMG in this forum. We could sticky it and then keep members parts and car sales in one place.

First of all, there is only one place to post for sale. That's it.
Second, its private classifieds, no vendors.
Other major rules that are amazing and help expedite the sale are:
-Price MUST be listed. Put a price and OBO if you want, but an actual price must be listed.
-At least one photo of item needs to be included.
-Location of item and if you're willing to ship.
There are more and they can all be found here:

Also, it's just me but I love how the for sale forums are laid out:

Picture, price, and category are all right there for easy browsing.
Love it!

Vendors have their own for sale section
A different for sale section for members
A different section for things not NSX related for sale
Even separate sections for WTB, and separate for autos for sale and autos wanted
Price must be listed, and no one can comment on the item except the OP..... keeps from item bashing

Can we ask for a minimum post count before someone starts spamming the forum? It would force idiots to go post an introductory thread and make them act like a human being for at least a few minutes. There it could be better ascertained if they're just stupid, or a troll, or is someone who might come here and contribute.
Perhaps all newly registered members or those under 5 posts should be required to post in an "Introductory" thread first before they will be allowed to post on the main forum? That way the trolls will weed themselves out, and anyone who likes answering the "OMG OMG OMG Help Me Find A C63" threads or questions that are asked over and over and over again by people too lazy or stupid to search can go there and help people till they're blue in the face, while the rest of us are left alone.

I'm just going to use this thread to park all of the retardedness that's going on here lately. I'll make it my job to update it every day until someone pays attention to this bull****. Bueller?
