Need ADVICE from current c63 owners w/ 6.2l engine
Hello,
how much will gas cost (CAD) depending on my commute?
is it easy or hard to sell after 2 or 3 years?
what type of depreciation hit will I take?
Also what other expenses should I account for? Tire wear / oil change/ other things? I'm clueless just LOVE LOVE LOVE THE CAR!!!!!! The car will be under their mercedes cert warranty until apr 2018.

I personally would not buy it in your situation.
Why take on the debt and associated costs? I would get an AWD vehicle (living in Canada) and a set of winter tires/wheels and save up for a car in the future. Get a used Subaru STi and have less expenses.
I drive 35-40 km round trip commute to work and usually fill up once a week at $75-80/tank.
I think it will be easy to sell with significant depreciation.
Factor in a set of rear tires every 1-2 years, and maintenance.

hmm 30-40 km round trip is pretty much the same as my drive, and you said you fill up ONCE a week 75-80$ full tank? Is that USD dollars and also do you drive normal or use the CARS power too here and there?
I just cant see myself driving a subaru, I love MERCEDES sure I can buy like c250 c300 but why not pay a more for the AMG if its my dream.
I'll take the debt I'll make more money in my life time to afford it!

Don't take advice from me.. but..
Warren Buffet told me to spend other people's money first.
You only have one life, enjoy it.
The best thing you can spend your money on are experiences. What are the things you look forward to doing? For me my C63 was my dream car since it was released. It took me until late 2014 to be able to justify getting one but I did and am very happy with the purchase. I had a C32 in the past I would still be driving it if a soccer mom in a van didn't run a stop sign.
For me owning and driving a C63 is not only an achievement but it is an experience. My life doesn't feel normal without a car that matches my persona. So.. if you really want one just go get it. Screw thinking about it. If you go broke buying gas for it f'it. You can always get a 2nd job selling your body.
When I was younger I would see other cars and get jealous now I don't - the only other car on the planet I think I would rather be driving would be a G63 and that would only be as a second car ;p
Just sayin.

Yes it is your dream car and you can afford it on paper I would not buy a car equaled to my annual salary or 30% of my monthly income. Take some time by a cheaper car at half the cost and save your money towards a new or used C63 in a couple of years?

Hum if you are asking about monthly gas bill or the number of fill ups then you can't afford this car. Have you looked into your auto insurance for this vehicle as well.

You'll get two kinds of responses to this question: 1) Make your dream a reality - go for it 2) how are you even considering this on that sort of income?
Ultimately, you're going to do what you want anyway so if it's been your dream to own a C63, pull the trigger.

in your situation i wouldnt do it. I'd look into an older c63 if you can live without the coupe. Find one that already took most of the depreciation hit. 35-40k$ range, low mileage. Get one with cpo or a good extended warranty to cover yourself. If you're planning or considering selling it in 2-3yrs it's not a dream car and you can live without it. However with the way your talking your mind is already made up, you just wanted us to finish talking you into it.

Yup at least a set a year, so that's another grand
Plus when factoring fuel cost make sure you are factoring the price of premium higher octane fuel and not the cheap crap
If you really want one and don't care about the debt (which you might not care now but you will later trust me) go get a pre facelift model for quite a deal less. Same driving experience for less money

As the resident auto finance person, you may also be limited by what a bank will lend you. Even with good credit, many U.S. lenders will only allow you up to 20% of your gross monthly income towards a car payment. Using your info, at 4k/month, you'd be maxed at $800/month, before insurance, gas, etc.
Not sure how much they budget for in the Great White North, but I'd think it's similar.
I love my C63, but I'd look into getting something less expensive before you bust your budget on a car. It's hard to say that, since I do this for a living.

Looks like you've made up your mind already but if you're still looking for opinions, here is mine.
A vehicle is the last asset you should purchase on credit (especially a C63) due to the fact of the depreciation rate. I would say it'd be better to work another 2 years and save up to purchase out right or if you can afford it, go for an older C63. In terms of gas, my C63 is used mainly on weekends and I still see myself spending $80-85 every week and a half for a full tank of 94 octane at $1.28-1.30/L (I'm in Montreal).

Don't forget the high interest charges at 4.29%, you should look for something with a lower interest rate to keep the cost of borrowing down. Maintaining a sports car isn't cheap. It is high maintenance like a girlfriend.

No joke there have been a few times since I have owned my c63 that I would swear someone was stealing gas from my car. I have a full tank and then what seems like a few short miles later I think I should be down to say like 3/4 a tank and I am looking at an add fuel message on the display. I scratch my head and fill up again only to later discover I am out of gas again.
Also rear tires I get about 9,000 miles per set (front last about double that), so keep in mind you will be buying tires like you have never before.
The car is a monster that wants to kill you, and it is so much fun to drive.
