Question: why does AMG hide the logo on the tips?
has anyone ever tried to reposition the tip?
I just got my car and noticed that you cant see the logo
I was going to get under it this weekend and see if its a screw/bolt that holds the tips in place and if its adjustable or are they welded
you would think it would be a nice sign to see the logo from under the diffuser
Interestingly, my coupe shows them pretty clearly standing from behind and it is completely stock. I don't have a photo handy just yet but perhaps there a difference between coupe and sedan?
The exhaust tips are not adjustable but just like mentioned above, after one spirited drive, they extend due to heating up and you can see the logos. Mine are so tucked under and in the diffuser that you can barely see the tips then they erect out as the car heats up....

So my car is a guy not a gal?

Yes, dry....don't use the heavy duty aluminum foil, just the plain Jane version...don't was it up Too tightly but also don't be afraid to use some decent pressure....trick is the aluminum is softer than the chrome and the steel so it won't scratch it but it will get them shiny new, it will even polish off any surface rust as long as its not through the chrome plating

It's a Väth rear diffuser.
Stay tuned, I just got my custom-cut carbon back from RockWest Composites. I'm making something similar to that, and will post up the CAD template when I know it all fits correctly.

They do 'expand' when hot and stick out more on most of the cars.

Go run your car hard for a good 15 mins then take a look at your tips....
