My goodness, the W205 steering wheel looks so natural and so at home inside W204. I am a idiot when it comes to DIY all this but I would really like one done like this. Awesome job!

This is my adaptation its 100% work on prefacelift without changing the module.

no problem, we shall start from checking your steering column (image 1)
if you have the new type steering column, the only thing you need is to find the steering wheel with the right buttons as i mentioned, it is plug&play, no contact module change needed.
if you are the lucky guy with old steering column as i, you have the do some DIY work.
start comparing the 2 differnt contact module, (left in the image is the old/current one from the car) you can not use the old module in your W205 steering wheel due to different shell shape, the only way is to take your old contact module out from the steering wheel on your car and dissemble it, take the core chip out and put it into the shell of the contact module which is from new steering wheel
then you have to make some cracks like i did on the contact module to allows some space for the pins on the core chips.
the reason is simply because the old/new chips have different pins location. - the center 10 pins are the same but the pins for the gear shift down are in different place
you can find more details in the above picture. the top left is the new chip and the right is the old one, you need to put the old one into the shell of new contact module, watch out there are also different 4pin on the edge of each chips - on your old chip the only way is to bend it and reconnect with wires, to make your horns works properly
when finished, trust me- your hard work deserves
(sorry i might not explain clearly since English is not my 1st language but let me know if you are not clear)

I have a facelift 2013 c250. Would the steering work for my car or it is only good for the c63?
