I'm in Alberta and I annihilate Evos buddy has one with larger turbo straight piped exhaust and I still beat him. Maybe if your roll racing in 7th?
im not to sure, i saw a few videos last year or maybe 2 years ago that someone from alberta posted and he kept getting walked by a evo but yeah its possible that he didn't know how to drive
has Magnuson released their stage 2 and stage 3 kits yet?
To obtain CARB certification, the Hammer C63 Supercharger Kit is currently released & available in the conservative "standard" form... everything except fluids is included in the Kit.
However; individual items are available for purchase from Magnuson that will enable the installer/Dealer to customise the kit to match higher-performance expectations, e.g., fuel-injectors, plug-n-play harnesses, pulleys. Any modifications from the standard Kit, including headers etc, will required a custom tune which can be sourced & supported independently through our Dealers and will probably void any CARB approval (& possibly warranty). If intending to option the Kit with higher-boost options, it is recommended to purchase a Tuner Kit which does not include the standard calibration.
Magnuson will not be releasing "staged packages" - Magnuson builds superchargers, not cars - although there is now a growing range of enhancements available and more are under development.
Magnuson SledgeHammer Overdrive Kit
The “SledgeHammer” overdrive kit is designed for those AMG M156 applications where a higher level of boost is desired from the Magnuson Hammer Supercharger. Please note that this product should only be employed where the engine and driveline has been appropriately upgraded to handle the significant increase in power and torque that can be achieved with SledgeHammer. Upgraded injectors with plug-n-play harness adaptors are available from Magnuson, however a custom tune will be required. As with any overdrive system, this upgrade will void the Magnuson warranty.
By retaining the OEM 6PK harmonic balancer, FEAD components & belt, the 8PK IFESD (Independent Front End Supercharger Drive) enables a wide selection of supercharger drive ratios without affecting any other components. The overdrive crank pulley is driven via four solid axial dowels that are keyed into the OEM harmonic balancer. An optional installation kit complete with guides, drill-bit & reamer is available for the OEM pulley preparation.
The SledgeHammer tensioner is a low profile heavy duty solution that has a wide swing angle and ensures appropriate tension is applied at all times.
I have just had the Sledgehammer pulley installed on my car. Great design, we increased the boost from ~5.5psi to 11psi with some great gains. Looking forward to putting in some more boost later this year.
Transmission is finally back and being fitted. I had the DPE headers cleaned up and coated while waiting. Aiming to set a time with the 11psi and then wind the boost up further and probably run an E85 tune
Estimating psi is very subjective to other modifications & the installs thus far have all been on heavily modified applications.
- For reference, a 2.857 ratio typically produces 10.5-11.0 psi (depending on other modifications).
- Utilising an overdrive system voids the supercharger warranty.
Pulley options just for the blower I meant not the overdrive kit. Like what comes standard with the blower and what's the next step up before going to an overdrive kit.
If im reading the chart correctly I'm going to assume "70" is standard and "65" would be a step up considering the crank stays 142? Based of your shop car what is the standard psi vs with the step up.

For reference, I got about 5.5psi with 70mm and 7.5 with 65mm with headers (straight pipes back then).

See that would be acceptable for my situation going with a 65mm pulley since my heads are Port and Polished the psi will be lower and safer for the motor. I also can't see anybody being satisfied with just 5.5 psi lol.
Hmmmm...
The typical "showroom-standard" install with a 70 supercharger pulley will run 6-7psi, or ~5psi with headers-no-cats depending on headers brand.
Dropping the supercharger pulley to 65 will add 0.75-1.5psi, however the 6PK belt will be working hard to maintain grip on a 65.
I have tried an "intermediate" upgrade by sleeving the crank pulley to 170, however it still runs the 6PK and is limited in the ultimate output... and is a reasonably expensive exercise for the moderate gains (8-9psi with headers).
Dave did you have issues during your time with the 65mm pulley?
Cli63 how is your 65mm setup holding up so far?
Car runs really well. No belt slip so far. Was on track past Friday with no issues, allbeit wasn't pushing too hard cause it was damp. She puts down 600whp and 500tq... or at least that's what the dyno says.
