Tell me about why you purhcased your C63...
Wife found this C63 and I just had to have it. It had more performance than any car since the big Chryslers and Fords I had.
Wife is regretting not keeping the convertible. I will have to get an SL 63 somehow.
I saw a fantastic 08, like off the showroom floor, Red with white leather and the wood trim was fantastic as were the wheels. 65,000.00 but someone beat me to it.
I'll keep the C63 but maybe enjoy the sun in her Sl, when I can get one.
Then I was buying my wife a new car and I went and test drove a C63 just for giggles. The E55 was gone within 6 months and I was driving my C63.
Fast forward 2 years, I'm now a proud owner of a 2014 C63 sedan!
I was about to pull the trigger on an M3, until my friend said that I was nuts and talked me into visiting an MB showroom.
Was told to get into a C63 and start her up. Heard the rumble and the rest was history
(still love M3s though)
The initial test drive was fun.
I wasn't ready for the negative attention it attracts.
The majority of people who see it get emotionally upset.
Others think it's something very cool.
It consumes alot of fuel.
It consumes alot of oil.
It consumes alot of tires.
I find the seating is off center from the steering wheel.
The driver seat is angled out. I can never get comfortable.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
hid's, nice wheels, big brake kit, nice interior, carbon fiber package, V8 power (p31), navigation, diamond white pain job, nice stock sound and exhaust, 4 doors, very fun to drive!!!!!!!!
soo in my case if you don't feel like spending money on upgrades and have other things to do then hey you got more than half the battle on your side!!!!!! win/win!!

Can you elaborate on the negative attention you have gotten? I really havent seen this negative attention at all but curious as to your experience.
A number of reasons! As i was car shopping i was looking for something that was a jack of all trades sorta speak. As i am already a car enthusiast i was looking for something more mature, classy yet still wanted power and potiential as well still be involved in the car scene and still wanted a manual.. I test drove the exact car i have now and i was instantly in love!..The body lines, the stance,Interior, the look period said mean!! IMO it was a wolf in sheeps clothing... after the test drive informed the salesman i had the oppurtunity to maybe purchase a dream car of mine and before making a impulse decision i wanted to check it out .. which to this day is a Porsche 911.. I was specifically interested in a 2005 911(997.1) with 50,000 at the time..I test drove it and opted to sleep on which i would choose.. In doing so the car sold less than a week later.. I'll admit i was a lil dissapointed.. Ironically the original car salesman called me the following weekend to ask me something(nothing to do with car) and while speaking i asked if the car was still available, and i am now the owner!! Even tho it isnt my dream car i couldnt be more satisfied and happier. Where im from you rarely see these cars, coupes and sedans alike.. So the exclusivity appeals to me as well as i am the only out of my friends that own one.. Cant even decide what the first mod will be!

Never driven one before
Only watched online videos and read reviews and toyed around on here a bit.
I wanted something unique. Not a typical everyday M3, M5, Audi S4/5. Something wtih 400 whp *cough* bull ish** thaat would look and sound good and turn heads.
Something car guys would enjoy talking about
GT-R was another option but 20k more and so was the Lexus RC-F but also 20k more.
Also wanted a back seat so a porsche was out of the question.
Already have an NSX so another coupe was not an option.
Punks ran across the street, one leaping through the air up and off my rear bumper with both feet, like a trampoline. While i was at a light.
Now i have a gap in my bumper.
The second day, a woman rammed it trying to parallel park a civic into a spot sized for a smart car. She rammed it until got wedged.
I witnessed the whole thing from across the street.
The third day, my obese barber of 20 years got visibly upset when he saw me pull up.
He bullied his way into it. Now my seat tracks noisy in the spot he lurched himself. Like the gears are stripped.
I don't see the car as overly in your face.
But it's enough that when people see it, they get upset.
At me. At themselves.
A visibly pained look.
Colleagues or others quickly ask "what year is it" "how much did you pay for it"
If it isn't an early release 2017 model or cost less than $100,000.
You get the "oh.. well.. then its nothing special after all and you should be embarrassed to own it attitude".
The police are envious and insecure. So they pull their authority to compensate for what they perceive as a failed life that will never afford them what others have.
My neighbor who always parked in his lines, began parking on the line, sometimes in my spot. I can only guess hoping for an opportunity to door ding.
When i leave with this car, it needs to be supervised constantly.
Its stressful. Not enjoyable.
Partly because i live in a backwards city.
I'm a low profile person. I don't talk about myself, especially material possessions because i know how people react.
But this car brings out the worst in people.
But i sat in another, and it had the same strange lean.
Happy to hear i'm not alone.
Funny they'd make it that way.

. What you need to do, just walk up and kick the guy in the nuts who parks on your side and tell him stay between the lines. Kick the cops in the nuts and tell them to f*ck off. Just go on a nut kicking spree!!I have a feeling I'll be buying one quicker than anticipated ... it's sunny and decent weather, so cracking the windows to hear the exhaust won't help either
