Tell me about why you purhcased your C63...
Was it the sound?
The looks?
The acceleration?
How many of you were addicted after the first drive? First driving impression after driving one for the first time?

I was searching for a more powerful car and happened to run across an image of a car I've never seen before, it was the C63 AMG. Then this was the first video I saw of it - <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/YBg-tOIkS44" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
The looks got my attention, the sound/performance sealed the deal.

I wanted to upgrade from my C43. In retrospect, I wish I kept it (in addition to buying the 63). But then again, maybe I wouldn't have ever driven it.

'14 C63 AMG "Edition 507" Coupe
number one: the motor and sound, because its the last one without turbo
number two: the look, but only the coupe (in my mind the sedan and wagon looks worse)
number three: the interior quality (my car has the extra leather dashboard)

I needed to check the V8 box so it became an option. The lack of a manual delayed my decision to actually test drive one, but ultimately the power, sound, seats, and the paint on my Edition 1 changed my mind.
I don't see myself keeping it for terribly long though...the itch for something new will grow too strong.

I already had a 2007 E63 which I was pretty happy with. After about a year and half I went out to dinner with some friends next to the dealership where I got my E63 and one of the salesman recognized me and told me he had a car I needed to test drive. I kept saying i shouldn't and tried to resist but as soon as I was in the drivers seat I knew it would be my daily driver by the end of the week.

I had a tuned Porshe Cayman S but was not using much due to seating. Wanted performance with seats, originally went to test drive an M3, told the sales guy I was considering M3 or C63. He told me there was a 63 for sale around the corner. I took it for a drive and bought it on the spot as soon as I got back to the yard. I thought I would do the right thing and let the BMW guy know I had decided on the C63. As soon as I walked in he said "as soon as I heard you drive past I knew you would buy it"......... he was right!

2011 E550 4Matic & 2010 Audi Q5 & 2015 C63 507
I wanted one since it first came out back in 2008. I resisted because I needed a 4Matic first as a daily driver for the winter. As soon as my car is paid off, I went to buy the last of the 507 while my wife is out of town. And I bought it also because of the last of the large NA engine and the fact that it is made in Germany.

Had a 987.1 Cayman S. Had a car payment on it, and I barely drove it. Was useless, couldn't drive anybody else around in it, couldnt' even take it to the grocery store.
It was completely modded out, and looked great, but I needed something more useful.
Picked up the C63 for a STEAL of a price from a friend, was well taken care of and everything, so figured why not! Drop a car payment, and pick up a car that's been more enjoyable to drive to me IMO, win/win!

I had wanted one back in 2010 when I bought my B8 S4 but they were out of my price range. I put a lot of money into the s4 and tastefully modded it while adding a nice amount of power (Stage 2+) and loved it. Especially the fact that it was dead reliable and was a 6mt. Then come a few months ago my buddy sends me a link about a C63 coupe in the nearby area at a shady used car dealership that had a black and red interior like my S4 had and I said fine Ill go test drive it.... It was love at first start. The sound, the steering and the SEATS! My S4 had ok bolsters this thing had incredible bolsters. The one at that dealer had no warranty and a broken passenger seat. I made it a mission to start looking for a well maintained model with warranty. I joined here and I found my gem. 17k mile car owned by an AMG master tech. Been all smiles since. It helped I had about 13k in equity in the S4 too. I sold at the right time. Once of those situations where the dominoes fell perfectly.
Also my first V8
Also my first V8

In 2012 I went to dinner with a buddy from Indy who owned/owns one. I had no idea the car existed as I was a pick-up truck owner. Bought one 2 days later.
For me it came down to the performance, sounds, seats, and handling. I was blown away in just the few minutes it took to go from Carmel to downtown Indy.

A long time ago; USGP 2007. I know, the pace car was a CLK63 BS, but I as soon as I heard the 6.2 wail down the front straight, my life changed. I was a young kid who loved Japanese Performance that went from admiring German Muscle to craving it!
Can't find video of the event but this is similar:
It took a while for me but I found the car that fit my needs, and has exceeded all of my expectations. I can't not look back when I park it; it is the best car I have ever owned.
