Financing Options with Banks

What are some good companies or deals out right now in order to finance a car. I know there is PenFed and others, but what else is out there that now many know about?

It depends on your credit, year of the car, term of the loan, down payment, etc.
If you qualify, USAA, PenFed, Navy Fed are good places to start, as well as Capital One.

i did airforce fcu. if you donate $25 to the heritage organization, you qualify to become a member. received 1.69% APR for 72mos on my used C63. new vehicles were at 1.49%.

This times 10! Credit union rates are often a lot better than dealerships and easy to get

They are part of suntrust. If you have excellent credit they offer 1.99% unsecured. Meaning no lien. No year restriction that I am aware of.

Some good advice in here. One thing I'd like to add is your downpayment, the higher it is, the lower your interest will be.

Definitely good advice here. A recommendation I have is to put as little down as possible when you receive rates of lower than 3% (the 30yr US treasury yield currently). I say this because you can easily receive a higher return, safely, by putting your money in an alternative investment. Things like low cost index ETFs, high rated Bonds, etc.

Also, the Fed is "likely" to raise rates within the next year, so bond returns will "likely" rise even more.

Just me 2 cents
