2014 C63 507 Coupe Dyno w/ Mods Follow Up

Hello everyone; some may remember a month or so ago, I've got the ported and polished heads complete at Eurocharged Toronto. I want to say I am quite happy where the car is at today. I have the MHP/ARH longtube headers with no cats, has stock rez and mufflers, carbon intake, weistec air filters, ported/polished heads and of course, the EC Tune. We did few pulls and each time seemed to gain few ponies. Last run, we let her sit down and cool off; after that ran 487 WHP on a dyno-dynamics. Videos show front and rear of car during dyno; videos never do justice on our beautiful musical notes from the 6.2 motor of course. Enjoy.

Nice result! Do you know how much hp the heads were worth?

Thank ya; Well; last dyno with headers was around 443 (didn't seem right but who knows..). After heads it was about 40hp jump.

What are the two graphs?? Is the stock graph the 440??? And everything else added the 487???

The graph has HP and TQ with few pulls

Eurocharged had my car in for solid month; I dropped it off few days early. I'll have to see my invoice for labour time.

It sounds a bit louder on startup. Maybe 5 to 10% noise increase but hard to tell.

Thanks mr747; and they 'decked' it out, assuming they CNC'd it too. I'm not too mechanically inclined unfortunately.

Decking the heads typically raises the compression. That explains some of the power gain right there.

quite a nice jump there.

this shows just how hard it is to hit 500WHP N/A

Raising Compression may not be good for future force induction setup though.

My only reservation is that low end tq may be lost. The car will feel strong up top but may lose some of that grunt down low with the P&P setup.

Either way, 500WHP is the magic NA number for me. Would be epic.

Vhaibhav and me are close to it. Im at 476WHP all motor right now. a P&P job should get me to the 500WHP mark NA.

Remember this is on the EC Canada dyno, which also reads low.
