Dreaming? Well as young guy we built all kinds of dreams. We didn't have carbon fiber nor electronic engine controls. We had affordable 2,000 lbs or thereabouts Thunderbolts, Tunnel port 427s and hemis in every thing from Dart, Cudas and anything we wanted to build. One guy had a rail with a bathtub for the body and a 440 Chrysler up front. Another had a Chevy II with a ford six cylinder made with two ford heads cut apart and welded back together that out ran V8s. Don't remember classes. Acid dipped bodies, aluminum panels and so on. No on the street and strip Guys are running 800 cubic inch motors and nitrous and or blowers and turbos. On the street mind you. Mileage is measured in gallons per mile in some. But it cost too much, or the younger crowd can't turn a wrench and are too lazy, can't make a mold and lay fiberglass or carbon fiber. Can't use slide rule, of I forget you have computers now, to design and figure weight and so on. Can't operate a lathe, can't, can't, can't, can't, can't spend 20,000 or a engine, can't can't, can't . MBs are too heavy, MBs won't, can't. Come on kids are you that lazy, tired, can't use the computer, an't thin, or is it I can't go buy it at the Dealer ready to drive?
