Interesting post, I have Bilsteins also with 2 holes for the sway bar end link. I replaced them about a month ago and just put them back in the same holes (side nearer to the rear of the car) I wonder which is the correct hole for them or are they just designed like that to fit a multitude of vehicles?

The correct holes to use for mounting the sway bar end links are the ones to the rear of the strut. Not really sure sure why they have two locations.
