Just got my 13 p31 off the dyno
Not sure if this is normal but car is stock with row boxes only and made 400whp and do these car run this lean stock?
Here is the dyno sheet and its compared to my e55 on pump gas on same dyno.its just insane how much more torque my e55 made

Sometimes yeah, my car put down around the same stock ...just a heads up..you're going to have people call you a liar for making 400whp stock even with dyno sheets. Good job though either way, and yeah it is crazy what those older e-classes put down!!
My tune runs the car super lean...15ish AFR ratios..i think normal is around 12-14 ..but you get a bit extra power leaning the engine out a bit more

Thanks for the heads up but I have nothing to lie about.I was the one dynoing my car at my friends shop for a baseline run.the car does have row boxes and is a development sls package car.
Yea my e55 is night and day lol

Are you more surprised that the car made 400rwhp or that's running so lean or both?
400rwhp is fairly consistent with healthy C63s, no? The E55 makes gobs of torque because of the positive displacement blower.
And long tubes and a good tune make close to 100+rwhp on the 6.2L?

Doesn't sound unreasonable to me. I remember reading that the P31 cars are a little underrated from the factory. Now if you said you made 450 whp stock, that would raise an eyebrow. Also, where was the afr taken? Did they just put a sniffer in the exhaust tip? If so, that's not a true afr since you have cats.

skratch77 - I wouldn't worry about your AFR...you still have room to play with, like I said..mine runs 15 or so AFR on WOT and i never have issues besides the gas - http://postimg.org/image/q9pbtyt9t/

We were concerned of the 12.7-12.8 afr and yes it was down in the exhaust pipe and is a bit richer before the cats but I had k&n filters with me and we both agreed to not run them as it would get a point leaner and wanted to see how these cars run before I do intake work.
I also have the jl motering carbon front intake to install and will be flashing a renntech tune on the car.
My goal is 450whp and dyno run was 3 back to back pulls in 4 mins with zero cool down and the car hit 400whp on all 3 runs back to back so that was a big shocker coming from a blown e55 as it would loose 15-20 whp if I did the same thing to it.

Dude those are awesome numbers for sure :-)
I made 319whp stock, 359whp stock tune and IPE headerback exhaust. 456whp with a custom dyno tune (stage 1) and now 499whp as of the end of this year.
E55's are no joke on torque. Seen some crazy numbers at a few of the local shops.

according to some members a 400whp stock c63 isn't possible ..I'm sure you've seen some of my posts with said members ..because with OP's current numbers ..with a tune and some other small work he'd be pushing 450-470whp without headers and 500 whp or more with headers. Which actually isn't unrealistic at all

Actually at WOT your AFRs drop pretty quickly down to 13.5 and then progressively richer at the top end.
Running 15:1 at WOT top end would result in a new engine being needed.

the OBD2 reader i use says inside the app I use ..between 14-15 on WOT unless the OBD2 readers are off/wrong? i dont have much experience with them but ive read they sometimes arent very accurate

Some cars have a WBO2 sensor, but most do not.
I would not trust the O2 sensor / OBD2 reader for anything other than telling you if you are in open or closed loop mode.

Either way, his AFRs look pretty standard, and not at a 14:1 or 15:1 as mentioned previously.
But the pick up in power between the 10.5:1 and 12.5:1 at WOT at top end is impressive.

I think that the 10.5 might be a pre-tune AFR and that the AFR reading in the 12s is post tune.

the green lines are EC V4 and the red lines are the custom tune i run with a few other mods ..but i see what you mean now ..I was looking at it wrong.. the AFR came in and dropped down on the dyno sheet...my bad guys!!
skratch77 - its horrible on all our cars!!..my dash is usually between 7-10mpg..i think 10-20 is average for our cars depending how you drive ..once you get a tune you'll notice it go down! ..i think you'll hit that 450whp mark easy
