C63 AMG Edition 507 Sedan
New member with new (to me) 507
Hi guys,
New member with 3 day old 2014 507 sedan.
It's Tenorite Grey over black leather. LSD, blind spot/lane keeping, Navi w/MB apps, keyless go, carbon fiber interior, black wheels and then all the regular stuff.
I was originally about to pull the trigger on an F80 M3. I found one I liked and had all my preferred options except for adaptive suspension. Something in the back of my mind told me to wait, though, and then I ran across this thing.
I felt like the M3 was technically a better car in almost every way (except steering feel) but it just didn't feel special. I don't know what it is our how to describe it, but it just felt 'fine'. You put your foot down and it went, you turned the wheel and it turned, you hit the brakes and it stopped - but it just felt so clinical and matter of fact about it all. The Mercedes, on the other hand, has this way of putting a smile on my face every time I was behind the wheel, even if I was just driving casually around town. Honestly, it only took one drive and I fell in love
Here she is on snow shoes:
The factory 19's are sitting in my garage. I got a great deal on the car, so I can't be too picky, but I'm not a fan of the black wheels. Does MB just paint them black? How dumb would it be to get a wheel refinisher to polish and clearcoat these?
Look forward to posting more!

Congrats on the C63 pickup and nice find. 507 sedans are a bit rare. I am still partial to the Tenorite colour as my 2010 P31 was that colour and very similar looking to yours from the side view at least. Enjoy!

Thanks for the warm welcome guys!
So you really don't think I should refinish the wheels silver?
Two of them have a bit of curb rash anyways, so I was probably going to repair them...

You could always just keep those as a winter set and just upgrade the wheels/tires for when the weather gets better. If nothing else though, sure why not. It doesn't hurt to get them refinished/repaired.

Congrats! I drove a 6 speed M3 and agree. I respect its performance, but nothing makes me giggle and feel the way my C63 does.

Couldn't agree more. I just came from an E46 M3, and prior to purchasing my C63, I test drove an E90 M3. It really didn't make me feel any more special than driving my E46. When I sat in the C63, though, that's when I knew I had to have it.
