C63 2.0 build thread - New forged wheels, MHP headers, pics and videos!
Hey all,
For anyone that wants to get caught up to my build thread (which is a little bit behind where the car is currently at)
Please visit: https://mbworld.org/forums/c63-amg-w...3-project.html
I made this thread as I am adding some more power to the car and want to post a lot of my upcoming drag/track-day videos in this thread.
Here is a list of current modifications on the car:
Wheels: Vossen VPS 305 20x9/10 *I have my fenders rolled, so there is no rub*
Tires: Toyo Proxes T1R (255F/285R)
Suspension: KW v3 Coilovers
Differential: Wavetrac LSD
Engine: Velos ECU Tune | Weistec Air Filters | Weistec Oil/Air Separator
Exterior: Mode Carbon Lufstrom Lip | Diffuser | Spoiler | Side Vents. All chrome is matte black on the car for a "stormtrooper" look
Lighting: Replaced all bulbs inside with LED, trunk and reverse light LED, and replaced the halogen lights with HIDs, considering swapping to OEM xenon but not sure if worth it.
Here are some photos from various events from around Florida.
Me with my buddies stormtrooper M4, I got the brake calipers painted red locally.
Same m4 rear shot
Side shot
Roller
Roller 2
Wheels
The car currently dynoed at 435rwhp, I have some track roll racing and street racing videos against various cars (beat an SL 550, Stingray C7 Corvette Conv, etc) but waiting to install my gen 2 MHP headers and xpipe and then will be active on uploading various Mexico runs with other cars.
Sound clips will be coming soon! Thanks for checking out the car!

Thanks, some don't like the tinted tailights, but I had my original 18" OEM wheels powder coated black so I went with the black tail lights.
Looking into colors to wrap the C63 (currently thinking Nardo Grey) and may look into switching the taillight set up accordingly.

Question, anyone run a 75 shot? Can anyone make an argument as to why I should not get some nitrous after getting headers etc

It would be used very often actually. Very involved in rallies and the drag (and street) racing scene...constantly racing other cars (GTRs, Gallardos, modified domestics, etc)

Been running a 100 shot for over a year now. I've gone through 10 bottles. Motor can handle it with ease and I don't have p31 internals. My advice is do it right. The system I'm running is a custom tailored one from nitrous outlet. I have a remote bottle opener. Bottle heater. Purge. And rpm window switch. I have it set at 4K rpms and I cut the nitrous before shifting. I also have a stand alone fuel system where I run c16. The system altogether is very safe. 75 shot you would want to retard about a degree of timing. I could of went with a blower but honestly I think those systems are way over priced for the results you get. On 75 shot I made 560 whp corrected. I picked up about 90whp with 75. So right on par with Weistec stage 2. The beauty of it is zero heat soak and I can play when I want. My supporting mods are.
Rows w/ afe oiled filters.
Catch can
Weistec pulleys
Intake thermalnators from sikky
Weistec larger tranny pan
Wavetrac dif
Longtubes fully Catless
Sls spark plugs
2 piece rotors from girodisc

Did the SLS spark plugs make a difference?

It's a colder spark plug. If your going to being using the spray regularly then your going to want it. When I was spraying a 200 shot, I was running 2 steps colder than the sls plug.

Nitrous is a double edged sword. If done right the results are stellar. If done wrong... Boom! But do headers before spray. This car with headers & tune is more than anyone would need for street use... If you crave more then you can put your baby on the bottle lol

I know...I just tend to venture out to "Mexico" often, and with ton's of GTRs, modded Z06s etc out there need something a little faster....I can only pick on E92 M3's so much
