Hey guys. So unfortunately I need a new front bumper. Its seen quite a bit of abuse from countless track days and autox events, and it finally cracked after a friend of mine found a parking curb the hard way. The passenger side of the bumper where it drops down under the fog light is ripped and just hanging there. So my question to you guys is what is a good quality replacement front bumper? Should I go oem MB? Ive seen the RevoZport and Vaero bumpers, but couldnt find reviews on them or anyone who knew the quality and fitment of them. Or should I just plastic weld it back together and put a lip on it? Any input or opinions would be helpful. Thanks.

That's what I was thinking. Just wanted other opinions. Still would like reviews on some of the aftermarket bumpers just for future reference

Looks like a fairly clean break. Just fix it, you may not need a lip at all.

Depends what you care about. You mentioned the whole bumper is pitted and beat up so you may want to remove, repair, and repaint or get a whole new front (easily available). Just slapping on a lip wont do anything overall.

Just depends how you want your car.

I do agree. I think for now I just have to patch it because I'm leaving for Daytona in two weeks. But I would still like to get opinions and reviews on bumpers so that down the road I can fix it properly.

Just my 2 cents- I think it would be best to just get a OEM 1 for 1 replacement.
I know of some aesthetic mods that actually pretty much ruined my previous ride aerodynamics

Plus cost to have it painted and installed, unless you can do that part yourself. So total, probably $1500-2000. Or, you can try to find a used one.

I can paint myself, however it wouldn't be oem MB paint. Install is no issue as well. I would probably have the dealer paint it so they could blend the front end however

Check eBay for used ones. There are sometimes a few on there.

If it's just a crack you can easily get it fixed (plastic weld). Just need to repaint it.
