... well... only a little bit.
Finally got some of the chrome trim blacked out. Was vinyl wrapped in satin black. Wanted to get this done ever since I bought the car a few months back.
Pretty happy with the outcome!

Looks good, but why not do the whole front grill? Blacked out grill makes the car more agressive IMO!

1) Grill
2) Badges
3) Switch out the orange signal lights

Thanks! I was thinking about all black. But I was not sure how it would look on a dark color car like mine. That's why I went for the 507 look.

Don't think I'll do the badges. I think they might almost blend in with the steel grey color of my car.
The orange side markers are next on my list!

I like how you did the grille, I prefer the "507 look" instead of the all black. Think it looks more bold and aggressive that way. Solidly done

Nope did not forget them! I just didn't take any pics. But the chrome on the door handles have also been wrapped

BTW, the reason I have not washed the car yet is due to the unusual rain we had in SoCal last week. No point in washing them now since more rain has been forecast
And if you're not familiar with SoCal, rain is a pretty big deal for us!!!

i know. it bothers me everytime i look. I didnt want to wrap it black so will instead get them painted red when I get a chance.

never thought of this mod but will look interesting if executed well. How easy/difficult is to crack them headlights open?

Not hard. Remove lights from car. Unfasten 6 metal clips. Heat up the lights with a heat gun (some people put them in the oven). This is to soften the sealant keeping them together. Pry clear plastic away from light housing. Remove/unbolt/unscrew the pieces inside you want to paint. Paint. Let dry. Reverse.

Looks great man! I did the exact same thing as you did. A little chrome doesn't hurt.
