Transmission problems.
My new C63 delivered in New Orleans March 3rd, 2015. Did not like the way the transmission shifted in any mode. In addition on occaision, when accelerating from stop it would simply not go! No change from idle. In a second or two it would surge forward. This would happen maybe once or twice a week. I was in the process of moving to Tampa and since the local dealer said there was nothing wrong. Decided to wait till I moved to Tampa. In Destin on the trip to Tampa that anomaly happened twice Scary in traffic and no brake lights and no movement. Car is in shop now at MB Tampa. Would like to know if anyone else has that problem and their solution.
Mercedes advertises:
The 7G-DCT dualclutch transmission operates without any interruptions in tractive power andoffers the comfort of an automatic transmission combined with the efficiency ofa manual transmission.
Mine never had this.

2014 E63S; AMS 100 octane ecu tune; edok tcu tune; BB intakes; dyno tuned
Yes this has Happened to me and several other e63S owners
I haven't had this since about a year ago when I got an Ecu update but the mct is a crappy transmission in stop and go traffic

I'm not sure if this is even an MCT issue. I've had it happen on both a 2015 E400 and a 2015 GLK350. I think it has more to do with electronic controls that MB uses for throttle and transmission control.

MCT Malfunction
Have you experienced or know of anyone that reported from stop where the engine Rpm goes up but car doesn't move. Then you feel a shudder and suddenly it catches!

Have you asked the dealer for a transmission update (flash)? Does it save any codes?

I've not had any "over-revving" at all -- only the "moment of silence" as the computers try to make sense of your input to the throttle and get the engine to react. The transmission has always been ready to go, as soon as the engine wakes up.
As a side note, I have had similar hesitation on many brands of cars - Lexus, Nissan, Hyundai, Ford, etc., so I do believe it is endemic to the drive-by-wire throttle and how it is programmed. I can see why so many cars are now using electronic throttles (can you imagine how messy the linkages would need to be to operate the newer intake systems?), but I wish manufacturers would spend more time refining drivability.

Op, based on your description you have a 204 chassis not a w205. 2015 c63 coupe is the 204. The moderator may have mistakenly moved your thread here.
Also it appears that you complained about pressing the throttle but no rpm increase. Then again you complain about pressing accelerator rpm increasing but clutch engaging irregularly. I am paraphrasing of course. Which of these two is it?

Transmission Problems
I have both of the problems described above. The problems with MCT are well documented. Software seems to blame. Picked up car yesterday 1/22/2016 from the dealer and the no rpm change under acceleration exhibited when turning on to a side street. Most of the time this car sounds and accelerates much better than the F430 I drove on a racetrack. Most of the time it would take a surgeon to get the smile off my face. The special tune, headers and intake mods turned this beast into a MONSTER!
