I could get in a FBO C6 Z06 and spank 90% of the cars on the street including many C63s like my own.

That's great that you do that. Been there myself to Skip Barber years ago in So cal in the 90's. I raced in the Pro 7 series and many other track events/autocrosses and IMSA GT series racing.
If I am going on the track, I would pick up a dedicated track car. A few summer events are fine, but it really does put a strain on a street driven car. I am looking for a track car myself, and do plan on taking my modded C63 on the track a few times, but I won't beat it up because I enjoy it too much on the street when I do drive it.

Full agreement on that! I race karts with my dad right now. Will likely be buying a dedicated track car next year. I havent taken the C63 to the track yet and not sure if I will due to resale and expense. I took my B8 S4 with heavy mods to track multiple times.

Sounds awesome. I have always wanted to run karts. Never got the chance. Keep the throttle down.

In each link, GM has a different take on why these cars are screwing up. Each time it's tested, they have problems, yet GM blames one small thing or another. In the motor trend test which I did not include, they said that the car Randy Prost tested was not only crashed, but the brakes were never changed. They use every excuse in the world to try and tell you that their car is good, and all these issues are the fault of someone or something weird that won't happen to the guy who goes into the dealership and buys one.

Right GM.

Yea, again this is about the C7. I wouldnt want one of those. But really good ammo to show a buddy of mine who thinks the C7 is much better than a new Viper.

It's GM. They are still run by bean counters. The "enthusiasts" in development are still bound by "what's it cost".

No GM car in my future whatever the stats.
