Marcadelic's Build Thread
Well guys after driving bmw's my whole life I've finally jumped into a Mercedes. The c63 really wasn't really even on my radar but I got an absolute steal on it and i just couldn't pass up a chance to own one of my favorite sedans.
Here's a couple pictures of my pervious builds:
My bagged 335i:
My 4.8is x5:
and here's the new c63:
I've already deleted the resonators, blacked out the front grill and rear emblems. I'll be doing a few more bits today and hopefully getting the roof and window trim wrapped as well.
The res delete sounds great but it's still not loud enough for me (my 335i was catless/straightpipped) so I'm going back to the exhaust shop tomorrow to have either an x-pipe or h-pipe put in place of the rear cats. Any help on this decision would be greatly appreciated. I've done some research and although the x-pipe will add some low end torque I think I'm leaning towards the h-pipe.
I'll keep this thread updated regularly, hoping these forums will be as hopefully and responsive as the e90post forums were

Woohoo! Another Bimmerpost member making his way to MBWorld!
Congrats on the W204 C63! Although you're probably used to torquey cars, I imagine the C63 to be a totally different animal.
Looking forward to seeing more updates. If you ever need assistance with the build, let us know and we'll gladly help out

Adorable. The BMW looks really clean though, I like it . Welcome and congrats on the C63 too! I only have my 2nd cats removed and replaced with straights and it opened it up huge. If nothing else you could always just remove both res/2nd cats if the h pipe doesn't work out for ya . Look forward to seeing the future pics!

Nice rides ... I came to AMG from an E39 M5, to an E60 M5, and then to a sunroof delete Imola Red 2000 M Coupe (which I still have, my garage queen).

New mods are as followed
plasti dipped the grill, fog housing and side badges
wrapped the door trim, rear trim and roof in gloss black
tinted out the oem side markers with spray tint (came out 10x's better than expected)
debaged the rear
added a cf spoiler from jbspeed
I'll be installing BC Racing coilovers, painting my stock 19's black, and adding spacers next month (tint very soon too, starting to get hot af in florida)
Need to figure out how to wrap the handles. I think I'm going to have to take them off the car.
More to come, roof spoiler, mirror caps, and front lip with be the next set of mods...hopefully in the next couple of months

Hey bro this is Alen E90 from e90post. You don't have the E92 anymore? Loved all of those mods. Nevertheless the 63 is coming along nicely! Thanks for sharing the pics.

If you're looking for a solid set of coils that aren't going to break the bank while allowing you to go relatively low with a slight increase in trackability I don't think you'll find a better alternative on the market.
I've had BC coils on my 335i and x5 and my only complaint was I couldn't slam the 335i like I was looking to with their first gen coils. But the super low version took care of that.

No complaints thus far, my reason for getting coils was more of a cosmetic purchase than to increase handling/ride comfort though so some may have a different view then I do.

Thanks kind of the review i was hoping for!! i dont track my car really...but def want to drop it...i am a real aggressive driver so the increased trackability is a nice touch... comfort is cool too as long as its not super stiff or bouncy a happy medium would suffice...im going to look them up... which set did you go with??

Been following your build thread and like your taste in appearance modifications. The car is coming along very nicely. Any power mods in your future (intake, headers, sc, tune, etc.)?

Once I dial the suspension in and get a few more cosmetic pieces (diffusor/side vents, blackout headlight housing) I'm going to turn my attention to power mods. Row airboxes + mhp or eurocharged tune, possibly headers down the road as well.

Let me know how the blackout of the headlights goes. I was thinking of doing the same
