Spraying just a 100 shot with 93 in the gas tank and c16 in the truck fuel system. I believe I'm shy of 600whp with this setup.

There's not much out of the ordinary for the kit. Basically looks like Hagi's except I'm using nitrous outlet.

Kit includes:
Nitrous Outlet single stage import system with 10lb bottle. (35-200shot)
-Nitrous outlet purge
-3 gallon dedicated fuel system.
-Nitrous outlet bottle heater
-Nitrous outlet remote bottle opener
-Nitrous outlet rpm window switch
-Nitrous outlet pressure gauge

m156 is strong as

Does nitrous outlet make a kit specifically for the m156 or did you have to guess on what jets to use to equal a 100 shot?

Are you running a tune for nitrous that pulls a couple degrees of timing?

C16 mix and dedicated fuel cell seems like a lot of overkill for a 100 shot.

This kit is basically a universal kit pieced together to my liking. It's not cheap. Tune is custom and I've pulled about a degree of timing.

It's not really overkill. You have to remember a lot more can go wrong with nitrous and it can happen a lot faster than with boost. It's a peace of mind for me. As the old saying goes... "I rather have too much, than too little."

W204 C63 Coupe, W166 ML350 BlueTEC, 928GT, C5 Z06 & IS300 race cars, EQE 4Matic+ on order
There is ONE car that's coming out in the summer and has everything that the new C63 and the German counterparts are sorely lacking, including soul... an Alfa Giulia Quadrifoglio. 505 hp, standard CF hood / roof / trunk, aluminum doors and fenders, active CF splitter and aero, MASSIVE carbon ceramic brakes, CF Sparcos... oh, and three pedals and six on the floor, in a package that weighs under 3500 lbs. Soul? It's all soul. It may not start on Tuesdays, but it's got all the other boxes ticked way better than anything the Germans can possibly come up with.

E-Class
Keep it!!! Its your car since day one, only you know your car best. If it acts up, you should know where to look. Cost? Its expensive sure, but you should already know that.

I bought a used 2006 S65 in 2012, and ran great. No problems besides the expensive coil packs. Stuff broke, but it didn't broke my wallet, nor did it leave my stranded. I don't know the previous owners history with it, so I was cautious but still drove it daily. I only sold it because I finally satisfied myself with a V12 and owning the big daddy s-class, and moved on to the much slower hummer h1 (another dream vehicle).

Also the new 205 are ugly. Tablet navi? BOOM headshot.

While the Alfa has soul and 3 pedals and other goodies on paper, what it lacks is reliability...

I hear you. I played with nitrous for many years on one of my other cars. I ran a small kit as well (150-175 HP jets). Nothing can beat that initial torque hit when it comes on and launching on slicks.

I was just curious if someone experienced with m156 and nitrous recommended the C16 mix. I never needed a dedicated fuel cell or any fuel above 93 octane. Pulled around 3 degrees timing and ran one range colder of plugs.

110% correct. The fact that it won't start on Tuesdays and will leave you stranded on days that end with a "y" is all part of the soul.

That's the kind of car you LEASE for the duration of the original factory warranty and turn it back in at the end (even if they are giving it to you free of charge but with the provisio that you'd have to service it there for the next three years), while you have a teutonic soulless German backup in the garage for Tuesdays and the 180 days a year when the Alfa is going to be in the shop for repairs.

lolz. That's so true. You will get an opportunity to get to know your local Alfa repair man. You can put his kids through school or pay for his next German teutonic soulless AMG.

When I was a kid, a family friend had a Ferrari 308. It was a truly beautiful car - a piece of automotive art that really, really changed how my young gearhead mind thought. He would joke.

"When you're going across town, you tell your mechanic. If you're leaving town, you take him with you."

Oh, and no one is worried about the fact that the Alpha reported failed *all* the crash tests and is delayed a few months for unspecified rework? Kinda sketchy.

Alfa claims it wasn't in-house crash test failures that were the reason for the delay, and FWIW their other cars have some of the highest Euro NCAP ratings. Then again, the Giulia is a new design from the ground up, by a different team of engineers from the ones that designed the other Alfa Romeos, so who knows.

The bit about the family friend and the mechanic, however, is likely true and not a joke.
