Well that's just plain dangerous. . .
This is the cheapest I could find online:

EDIT: Just found this. May be worth looking into such it's a fraction of the OE part's cost.

I admit, I don't know a thing about MOOG so you may want to do a bit of research as to the quality of the bushings etc.

Is it normal that a control arm fails prematurely like this? Car has 80k KM's on it.....
On top of it all my aftermarket warranty does not cover suspension parts.
Not normal but definitely not unheard of either for a control arm to fail that early.

1) Look at the bushings between the Moog and ECS part. In the Moog part, the hole is slotted to allow for adjustability while the OE part doesn't have that slot.
2) The part number, if you look closely on the ECS piece, doesn't match the OE number which is 2043305011. It reads 2043330060
I'm a bit confused to be honest. Google "C63 Control Arm". You'll actually find that it looks like the Moog part and not the ECS tuning part. That picture looks to be wrong. If what I'm saying is correct, you could save a boat load of money.

The part number on ECS is correct. It states it under the description.
Bottom line there are two control arms per side:
1 with balljoint facing down (cheaper one)
1 with balljoint facing up (The dealer only part)
Hmm let me do more investigating
EDIT: Damn. I think you're right. Why do they have an upward AND downward facing lower control arm?

Trust me I was rattled when I found out the price..
I think I have a used set here. Never seen those go bad before, you must be smashing a lot of potholes hard.
Is the nut on top tight?
The nut on top was tight. The arms are in fact shot. Visited the dealer and they only had one available, claiming the 5011 part number is back ordered.
Please let me know thanks.
I see this one on ecs and this other on another website, is it the the same one?
Anyone know the difference between these parts?
