Uh, I installed one with the steering wheel on the car. Super easy, takes 5min once the airbag is off.

No, what I mean is that in order for you to replace the trim, you have to remove the airbag temporarily, install the new trim & then reinstall the airbag again.

I actually have the factory trim. I believe member BLKROKT has the same or similar carbon fiber one which you posted. BTW, I don't think the carbon fiber trim has the AMG logo on the bottom.

Oh man, I like the trim but more importantly the bottom AMG logo. The OEM one is a stupid "AIRBAG" logo.lol
