Anyone else waiting for their transmission build from Weistec?
Just wondering if anyone has been waiting a while for their transmission to be built at Weistec. Sent mine in October, still waiting, they said waiting on more clutches, but my buddies was built and sent back already. I'm warranty so maybe I'm on the end of the receiving list?

Ya I think when I got it built originally it took about 3-4 months, but this time is taking way longer. I just don't get how it takes so long, doesn't make sense to me. Hoping to get it back soon. Steve used to get back to me right away, my new contact there replies once and a while.
I just feel like I am getting the run around.

Sorry to hear dude. Managing customer expectations is like 'Business 101'. Seems like they've forgotten this of late. Hope it gets sorted, that's just way too long to wait.

I felt like I was getting the run around there as well. Nobody returns e mails or phone calls. Seems like they don't care about repeat business or customer service anymore.

Sounds like if another company wanted to step into the Mercedes AMG platform, now is the time.
Good luck Merc

Ok, so their site is at least back up. Still, it says pretty much everything is in stock. I guess that's not actually the case? 6 months for a transmission... Do you all have extra 722.9's kicking around?

I've waited patiently for three months for Weistec to confirm that I can pick up my Bulletproof transmission and have it installed elsewhere, without success. Fully paid for long ago including a supplied core. I now suspect they sold it from under me to someone else so I anticipate they'll continue to ignore me (at their peril). I'll have much more to say about it next week after I visit them with a few friends. We'll see how it goes then. Those of you with engines/transmissions/parts orders etc. would be well advised to pick your **** up soon. It's not looking good. Yeah, I'm really pissed right now.
edit: Trans was finished long ago, now *crickets*.

Weistec had a great reputation, I wonder what the hell is going on.
