2014 C63 AMG 2008 VW MK5 R32
Eurocharged tune????????
Hey guys, I'm still fairly new with my 2014 c63 and I have a question or two.
So I'm putting on long tube headers and midpipes so that means I have to tune the engine.
I'm leaning towards Euro charged v5 and am looking for experienced input on if it'll damage the engine at all in any way?
Also, what would people recommend on if I should keep stock mufflers or if I should look for something aftermarket?

Eurocharged has great tunes. With headers I would keep stock mufflers or it will be crazy loud.

Actually, with headers, get any other brand of muffler. Stock mufflers are megaphones. I have SuperSprint and it sounds great now. Stock was a nightmare.

People (not you guys, just non-amg friends) don't believe me when I say the OEM mufflers should be called amplifiers instead.

Look at Akra mufflers for example, they quiet the exhaust down big time.

I have the akra slip on with my long tubes. It really tones down the exhaust, nice deep rumble. Gets rid of all the rasp from stock mufflers.

You already modding your C63 by LTH & midpipes.
Mapping the car is to get all the benefits from those mods.

How you drive, maintain engine temp and how you maintain your C63 service wise will determine whether you are damaging the engine.

Dubz, do you have any videos of your exhaust. Ive been considering getting headers but I dont want it to get too much louder than stock. I was considering getting headers with race cats and doing the slip on Akra as I've heard it will help bring the volume back down.

I'm also curious on the power difference/loss going with cats and akra as opposed to straight through with the headers

Bingo. The stock mufflers are stupid loud with long tubes. And Purple Heart said it best, the Akra mufflers are the best at quieting them down.

Hey guys I really appreciate the advice and sorry it took so long to reply. I will definitely not keep stock mufflers then. I'll throw on the headers and tune asap. Super stoked
