Door panel removal

I do not have a video but it is fairly easy.
1- remove the torx bolts in the armrest
2- then use a pry tool to pop out the plastic orange pins. There are many (probably 10). Just be gentle.
3- from that point your panel will only be hung by the top. You'll be able to lift the panel and see the speaker behind. Or just remove the panel by gently push upward. Be careful not pulling too hard because you have your door latch cable as well as your wiring harnesses.
4- Once you disconnect the different cables the panel will be off and you can work on switching your speaker.

Thanks guys. Anybody know how to remove the speaker? I've never seen bolts like this before.

Hum ... unless drilling it I don't see how you can remove it.
I never had to replace a speaker so never paid attention to that

Found a thread on speaker removal but no more pictures.
Basically you need to drill those rivet out and put new ones.

edit: as said in page 5 if you are replacing the speakers by OEM then you need the rivets.

That's nuts that MB riveted the speakers. In any event, it's pretty simple to drill them out and place new ones in there (of course you will need to have a rivet gun and rivets).
