Question Carbon Fiber Parts Advice

I know there are several vendors for aftermarket CF parts on here, but I am looking for advice from the community (on quality, price, customer service, etc.) as it relates to the different vendors and their products.

The CF pieces I am looking to buy:
- Front Lip
- Rear Diffuser
- Mirror Covers

Fellow Members: Please post up your experiences with with MBWorld vendors and their products if you feel that you could assist me with my decision.

MBWorld Vendors: If you are reading this, please feel free to PM me a package price for the items listed above shipped to 55410.

Thanks in advance gang!

Mode Carbon - Front lip / rear diffuser:
Customer service - Top notch
Fitment - Takes a little work (but every type/brand does)
Quality - Amazing, one of the best out there

RWCarbon have many different styles, the service is top-notch, great prices, and everything looks and fits as advertised.

Additional question...

What is a reasonable amount for a shop to charge to install the front lip, rear diffuser and mirror covers?

Depends on shop, could be anywhere from $60-$125 /hr. If each piece takes around 1 1/2 hours (estimating) to install. Some places may even just do it as a bundled option instead of just per hour labor cost.

I've ordered these mirror covers directly from Schatz, Germany. Not cheap but as you would expect the quality is top notch. Now I'm thinking to order rear diffuser from them.

The majority of CF products are made in a few factories in Asia and then the vendors put their logo on it and sell it. If you see one on ebay that looks just like one a vendor is selling....it's the same thing. RW Carbon would be in this category. Now I don't think there is anything wrong with RWCarbon and other similar vendors as they provide a great product and you are less likely to get a "Grade B" compared to ebay.

I believe Mode Carbon produces their own in house, which is why they are more expensive. Same with the Schatz mirror covers.

Yeah I was about to say that they just look like all the other mirror covers.... until I took a closer look. They really do look good.

The carbon fiber interior pieces are very expensive. Does anyone sell the carbon fiber stickers for the interior? How's the quality?

I went to their website for those CF mirror covers. While the fitment looks OEM, I'm not sure if I want to spend that amount of $$ on covers. That's getting in the front lip price range. No hating on you that got those, but I will have to do some soul searching.

+1

I love the weave pattern on those Schätz mirrors. My carbon Revozport ones are quality pieces but yours are pure perfection.
