New Exhaust setup - Akrapovic

Won't be getting rid of the tips. It was a big thing for me too. One reason I went with the eisenmann in the first place.
Looking back, the eisenmann is the perfect complement to any Long tubed c63. It offers the best of both worlds in terms of power delivery / sound and of course craftsmanship. The Akra is a love / hate thing. It changes the signature AMG tone for sure. But that is also a trademark Akra sound. It also outperforms the eisenmann. The car pulls like a fricken freight train.

Hey nice to meet you, happy to meet a fellow Toronto C63 owner.
were trying to organize a roll racing event at MBTN. Id be happy to give it a go. I don't partake in street racing.

If you are trying to reach 500rwhp and weight reduction, you are obviously interested in making your c63 as quick as possible.
My $.02 is to take your car to the drag strip. Once you get a few logged baseline runs in, see where your tuner or new reputable tuner can improve your HP under the curve. If there is extra HP to be found with a re-tune (race gas will help here), take it back to the track for comparison sake.
That is what is going to make your sled as quick as possible, HP under the curve, not peak HP.

I Agree with you 100%. I had ran the car last year at 11.7 @ 119 with 265's out back. I'm not a track guy by any means. But I do like to go out every so often.
I will visit again this year to see how the wider rubber + additional weight savings do for me.
Appreciate the advice!
