My cousin is in the market for an AMG and he has narrowed it down to either picking up a used C63 or a clk black. We found this one for sale which he really likes (i know the color is quite one off but he really likes it)
Now, doing some research, i can see this car has had a few previous owners and been through a few dealerships, has anyone on this forum actually owned this car (i searched around but couldn't find much on our forums)? Would love to see if anyone has any more info before on what mods/work went into it (above and beyond what the dealership add says) before he possibly looks into negotiating and pulling the trigger on this.

The green looks suspect lol, and those tail lights are hideous.. Btw, what happens if you get pulled over and the cop finds out your car is a different color than whats on your registration? Do they tow it..?

I remember seeing this car recently at the Chicago dealership I purchased from. Did not see it personally, but in their online inventory. If I remember right it had both NY and FL history and Carfax link showed right front damage at some point.
Sure looks like a sweet ride. Asking price was $57k if I remember right.
thanks for all the insight and info guys, appreciate it. Yea, from what i saw, it appears to have moved around A LOT between various dealers and just kind of sit there for the last 2 years. Between the one off color and accident on its record, probably going to stay away from this one, as amazing as the clk black is, def dont want to get stuck with this thing a few years down the road if/when we choose to sell it, sigh....the search continues
Haha, I actually had to look that up to see why. Totally random/chance, that was the one thing they all had in common when they took the survey...interesting though.
I think if it was more of a metallic green, it would have looked a whole lot better...hell even the green C63's were pretty nice.
